I love how it conveniently comes in a single serving now!! 3.5 minutes is a little long compared to the 90 second rice but I'd rather wait the 2 extra minutes than have leftovers I won't get around to eating.

Now for the flavor or lack thereof it was basically white rice. No real chicken or herb flavor . So if you like bland maybe for some picky kiddos I'd pick this.

I was happy to see that the ingredients were primarily whole food, real ingredients. For something so easy as just tossing it in the microwave, the nutritional value was quite good. For something less than 300 calories, it was surprisingly filling. The taste was also great—much better than similar competitors. I followed the instructions exactly, and I ended up with perfectly textured, soft rice. I highly recommend!

It smells so good and it's super easy you just pull the film back add water and microwave it. Super easy and it taste really good. With how strong it smells you'd think the flavor would be way stronger but it's still really good. It's not over powering so it's a great snack or side with a meal.

The texture and taste aren't like the bag rice either it has less flavor. Overall I think the bag version of Ben's Original rice is better than these new cups.
