I am so used to the turn nob to set the time so to see the actual time and what's remaining allows you to pin point the actual time your food has been cooking. It is very sturdy and it is easy to carry on the go! The dimensions are a great size for family and/or party meals! It comes with a carry bag which makes it easy to carry and it has a standard plug which is great compatibility with any wall socket.

First off, the design is so clean and aesthetic — the neutral cream color looks gorgeous sitting out on my counter instead of something I want to hide away. The digital controls are super simple and intuitive: I set the timer, chose “Low,” and let it do its thing. The locking lid feature is a game-changer. It sealed in moisture perfectly and made the kitchen smell amazing without having to constantly check on anything. By the time the timer ended, the pork tenderloin was fall-apart tender and evenly cooked all the way through — literally no effort on my part. When it switched automatically to “Keep Warm,” it stayed perfectly juicy until we were ready to eat. Large capacity made it easy to make a large meal in this. It's quiet and heats up nicely as well. Side handles make for easy handling. Cleanup was easy too — the removable stone insert washed up with zero struggle. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — If you're thinking about getting a slow cooker, just do it. I have come to admire the quality, durability, and ease of use over my 50 years of age. The Crockpot 7-Quart Countdown Cook & Carry continues to reinforce my experience. IN THE BOX/ASSEMBLY – The unit was well packaged and everything arrived well protected and pretty much ready to use after some cleaning right out of the box. Included are the glass lid with clamp downs, the cooking chamber, the unit itself and the instruction manual which includes some quick recipes! USE – Use, as I have come to expect from Crockpot was super easy and straight forward, on plugging the unit in the high, low and keep warm lights will all come on. Simply choose which option with the Select button and then use the up or down arrows to set a time and THAT'S IT! We cooked a 3lb pot roast immediately on receipt for six hours on high and everything came out simply amazing! The roast literally fell apart and the vegetables were perfectly cooked! I LOVE the clamp down lid for travel use, note that you DO NOT clamp the lid during cooking, the seal is perfect and should prevent spills during handling and moving the crockpot! FINAL THOUGHTS – I cannot say enough about the simplicity and quality of the Crockpot 7-Quart Countdown Cook & Carry slow cooker and for all the Crockpot products we have used over the years. I fully expect this slow cooker to be making awesome meals long after I am gone!

We were gifted this crockpot from our wedding registry and I was so excited to use it, except this thing cooks way hotter than any other Crock Pot slow cooker I've ever used. Any meat ends up over cooked, it even burns buffalo chicken dip on the “keep warm” setting. It's basically useless :(

Love the programmable features and the "warm" mode but worrisome that the crockpot get hot as soon as I plug it in and stays hot for a long time after it is turned off if it is plugged in. The outer case is hot to the touch within 3 minutes of plugging the unit in. Not something I really like when this is supposed to be on for hours.
