Perfect for travel such as attending a potluck, banquet, or any social gathering where guests contribute a dish of food. This crockpot is made of stoneware, stainless steel, and glass. The tempered glass, locking lid has a nice seal that fits tightly to prevent mess and spills. There are large, sturdy handles on each side that make carrying the crockpot easy. The pot itself weighs 12.5 pounds. There is a huge amount of room so it's ideal for feeding large amounts of people, but I've also cooked food for two just as easily. The stoneware bowl and lid are dishwasher safe, and you can also use the bowl in the oven (it's oven safe up to 400F). There is a countdown display that's digital which allows you to easily track/monitor your cook time. You can program your cook time from 30 minutes to 20 hours, and there's an auto warm setting to keep your food at serving temperature, or to simply warm the dish up. The digital display is clear, bright, and easy to see. The temperature of my food remained stabile/even, and accurate. The food tasted great. The consistency was as expected. A slow cooker is a kitchen must have for me. This crockpot meets all my needs. The performance is top notch. The design and color are beautifully done. I adore the cool blue Poseidon color. This looks great on my counter top. I've gotten numerous compliments. I definitely recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to make cranberry chili meatballs for the Super Bowl and it was able to hold 3 large bags of meatballs with plenty of room for probably 2 more bags. Highly recommended for crowds! The digital displays are very convenient and i love that it also has a sous vide option as well. I cant wait to make some chicken with that method soon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll admit that I had never heard of “sous vide” before receiving this crockpot. For my review, I decided to make a recipe from the included booklet since I figured this would be a “tried-and-true” recipe. As a first-time user of a crockpot with sous vide capabilities – the Everything  Salmon with Basil Cream Sauce and it was outstanding.   I loved the digital features of this Crockpot and appreciated having the ability to control both the temperature and cooking time. I'm used to the traditional Crockpot settings of Off, Low, and High. The number of additional settings are fantastic.   It was a bit weird using a storage bag for cooking in the Crockpot and it felt pretty unusual at first. Since I'm mostly accustomed to traditional crockpot cooking, the concept of submerging food in a bag seemed unconventional. But once I got past the initial hesitation, I found that it actually made the cooking process convenient and mess-free.   Overall, I'm happy with my experience using this Crockpot for sous vide cooking. It's opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me, and I can't wait to explore more recipes in the future.

I have cooked many different items in this and have been very satisfied with how perfect things have cooked. The latches on the top are very solid so when taking this to another household with food in it, you don't need to worry about anything spilling out.

I havent used a crockpot much before in my cooking history, so it's been a nice additional tool to my kitchen. I like the size because it can be tucked back into a countertop corner, and the design is aesthetically pleasing where it looks nice in a modern kitchen. It has a very silent operation and the construction quality is very sturdy. I look forward to it more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I enjoy soups throughout the winter. Our old crockpot was a bit small. I got this 7 quart Crockpot to make larger batches. The Crockpot has a good size to it. It is so simple to use. Fill the pot with the ingredients, set the countdown timer, secure the lid and all done. Well, it took a bit to chop the ingredients, but setting up the pot is super easy. It has a good even heat throughout the pot. The lid fastens nice and tight. And it is see through.
