Very Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best mattress I've ever owned and also the best mattress I've ever slept on period. It's like sleeping on a giant cloud. I don't suffer from night sweats anymore. I would buy this 2 times it's so great!!!!

I have slept on a Beautyrest for the last 10 years and loved it. I just got the Beautyrest Black series 2 to replace that one and I am so excited to sleep on it. The mattress itself is very luxurious and high quality. I have not slept on it yet, but laying on it in the store and when they delivered it, I know this mattress is perfect. It is firm and yet soft and I am looking forward to testing the cooling technology in this mattress.

No more tossing and turning it felt supportive as well as plush. The best of both worlds. Don’t walk but run and get this mattress!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To say I feel like a million bucks is an understatement! Let’s begin with the thickness. I feel so high up and at first I thought I didn’t like it, but later did. Reason being I get out of bed easily as opposed to having to pull myself up. The soft plush pillow top meshes perfectly with the firmness below and I can’t feel my husband move whatsoever. This would be a great value for someone that wants to invest in a good quality mattress.

It's so ridiculously comfortable I'm having a hard time waking up for my alarms. I'm also having a problem with my family stealing my bed and not wanting to get up. Honestly though, this is amazingly comfortable, extremely supportive for a plush pillow top, regulates temperature shockingly well and is of the utmost quality. I have been waking up every morning feeling completely refreshed and have had no issues waking during the night like I used to all the time. Aside from these attributes, it's also beautiful. Love the black label and color scheme. Thank you Influenster and Beauty rest! Couldn't be more happy! Everyone should go out and buy one now!

Just got it but once broken in like the stores I assume this will be a great bed worth the price. Coming from a Beautyrest that was 12 years old and after finding the box spring and base to be the problem, the old bed will be repurposed for a family member to get a few more years out of. I fully expect the same or better quality from the BR Black medium.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Beautyrest Black is overall a great mattress. It looks incredibly glamorous! It’s very well made and provides great support despite only being of medium firmness. Neither of us has had a sweaty night since we got it despite the 100• temperatures we’re having right now. The one complaint is the way the pillow top is designed. Instead of being the same thickness to the edge of the mattress, it gently slopes down to mattress height. Both my partner and I have felt like we were falling off the bed because of this. Overall, the mattress is great but I wouldn’t buy one simply because of the way it feels like you’re falling off the mattress when you get onto the outer six inches of the mattress.

This mattress is very very comfortable when you’re first laying on it. It has a pretty thick pillow top for extra comfort. However, I do find myself sinking into the mattress quite a bit and once I am sunk in far enough, I begin to feel uncomfortable and like the bed is way too hard/firm. This mattress is supposed to be “medium” firmness and I agree that it probably would be once it was broken in and used for a couple of years. However, it is too firm for me and my boyfriend. We ended up putting an additional memory foam topper on it and now it seems to be pretty perfect for comfort! The biggest downfall of this mattress is how HEAVY it is. This is the heaviest mattress I’ve ever lifted. It was really tough to get in onto the bed frame even with my boyfriends help. I know mattresses get heavier with time as well since they collect dead skin cells and whatever else. This worries me for how heavy this mattress will be in a few years! I move a lot so it could potentially be an issue for that. However, the weight of this mattress proves to me how high quality and nice it is. I love that this mattress is black! Great for hiding dirt/moisture spots that inevitably happen over time. However, could be deceiving in the future if something does soak through the mattress and I can’t figure out where the stain is or if the stain has been removed or not. I suppose I will cross that bridge when I get there. The only other downfall of this mattress is that it’s very thick and high up. Luckily this isn’t an issue for me and my boyfriend because we are young and healthy. This would be an incredibly hard mattress to use if you had any sort of physical limitation or are of old age/lack height. When using this mattress with nothing on it but a fitted sheet, we did feel like it kept us cool and had great temperature control. Now that we have all of our other sheets and blankets and pads on the bed, that temperature control isn’t as good as it used to be. This mattress is incredibly expensive to purchase. I do think it’s worth the price if you are okay with the disadvantages mentioned above. It is incredibly durable, well-made, and supportive. I have a feeling I’ll have this mattress for years and years and years to come and it won’t do me wrong. Overall, I would recommend this mattress.

Sleeping on it feels like the most luxurious hotel bed, and the motion isolation is so nice. I used to wake up from the shaking of my husband putting on his socks while sitting on the bed, but now it doesn’t bother me because I can’t feel the movement! I’m sleeping through the night since we got this mattress because it’s so comfortable.
