You could tell the Members Mark whole cloves are very fresh as it has a beautiful aroma once you opened it. The package was sealed tight to keep in the freshness and I love the fact that the cloves were all whole, none of them were broken and there was no powdery residue in the bottom of the package either. The container is also clear so you can see how much is left and it's a tall slim container which is perfect for the spice cupboard.

These members mark whole cloves, have solid quality and fantastic value. The container is huge, and the clothes themselves are whole, aromatic, and appear fresh. I couldn't use this ingredient as it will perfectly fit into my holiday baking. I would definitely recommend!. 

These whole cloves smell so great! It's a large container that will last a while! The smell gets me so ready for fall and winter. I like using them in simmer pots. I have made several simmer pot kits and they make great gifts! It smells up the whole house when simmering on the stove! These cloves are a great size and texture.

I love having this large jar of cloves around, especially during the cold months. They're great for cooking and baking, but mine are most often used for hot toddies around the holiday season. If you could smell picture, you'd be delighted, as soon as I opened the container I immediately got a strong sense of the cloves smell, and it is delightful! The strong smell is amazing but the cloves themselves are not too overwhelming as others I have had. My favorite thing to make with cloves is to add a handful to a pot of black-tea, and you are in for a treat! The aroma is breathtaking and the flavor is pleasant, that's all you should want in a spice. Usually I have to be careful with cloves as they are so sting they make your mouth go numb but not these they are just right, the color is a deep brown not black as I've bought in the past. Highly recommend and can't wait to use in ham, cookies, breads and sauces!

The cloves were very fragrant and fresh. I use then in making authentic vietnamese pho, which requires ample cloves to being out the flavor and aroma. This is great value from.Sams club since buying it elsewhere st our typical asian grocery store only gets one quarter of the volume for the same price.
