I purchased the (WGEN10500TFC) IN Sep. of this 2024.I've only had the opportunity to test run it on my home. I tested it on propane fuel and put a full load on it with my home central a/c unit 3.5-Ton, along with some other appliances. The generator continued to run as advertised under a full load with no struggle. I tested it again a month later and it performed just as well. I am very pleased with my purchase of the (WGEN10500TFC).

Bought the dual gas/propane generator this summer to prepare for hurricane season. Literally took it out of the box and got it ready 2 days before we got hit with hurricane Helene and then Milton a week later. It worked flawlessly. It was a godsend when we lost power or could not get gas as we could use it with full size propane tank. Great buy. Love it.

Generator was more and larger than I expected,as it turned out it will run my entire house. This size may not be suitable for everyone, it is a monster size generator. When the power goes out in your neighborhood be prepared for everyone to come to your house when they see ALL of your lights on !!!

Received the Westinghouse generator yesterday and first off I was very impressed with the sturdiness of the packaging and the delivery. After unpacking the generator I am very happy with the material and manufacturing of this product- very well made, sturdy, rugged- built to do the job it is intended for. The included user manual is very detailed and easy to understand which makes operating the generator doable for even first time users. Very satisfied with my Westinghouse generator.

I ordered and received this generator on October 16, 2024 just after Hurricane Helene's devastation that left the entire Western half of NC without electric power or any type of phone service. We used it the first time in December just after Christmas. Although I had a 24 year old generator that got us through the hurricane, I felt it was time to upgrade to a unit that would provide more electric power as our older one was limited to one 120V outlet and one 240 outlet. Our new Westinghouse generator has more than enough capability to supply all our electric needs when we need it, and I am totally overwhelmed with our purchase, as there is no rope pulling (although it's available) and it starts with no effort at all! If I could give a 10 star rating, this unit deserves it!

I bought the iGen5000c five months ago, and I am very happy with it. The setup and operation of the generator is easy. It runs great! I was able to power all of my appliances and electronics without any issues. The only negative (and it is minor) is that the strap that holds the battery broke during my first use, but the battery is in a safe compartment anyway. I would definitely buy a Westinghouse generator again.

We bought this generator so we'd have it up and running by 2025 Hurricane season here in FL. So far so good. Setup was easy. Using propane for a test run proved very simple and easy. Now we need to try natural gas, which we intend to use in the final setup. But first we need to reconfigure our electrical panel to handle the switchover in case we lose power and that will take some planning, wall changes (holes for electric connection) and maybe a hole for the gas lines. But if we lose power tomorrow, we can use the generator with propane and extension cords, until we get the electric panel redone.

I bought this generator after experiencing power loss during hurricane Helene. This generator is dual fuel which is imperative when fuel access is limited. The push button start makes it easy for anyone to start the generator and outlets on the generator are a bonus when you are trying to charge your phone and other equipment.

Wired this generator to my sub panel and started it up and started turning on breakers. I was impressed with its output. Was able to run most of the house. Water Pump, freezers, refrigerators and more. Easy to assemble and start. Ran for 5 hours and never worried only impressed.

So happy with the purchase of our new Westinghouse generator. Quality manufacturing from a well known brand let's us rest easy in the knowledge that we'll always be able to run our necessities during an outage. Be aware that the generator is heavy, so you will want to have a convenient place to store it which will be easily accessible during bad weather. Bring it out in advance of any snowstorm. You don't want to have to try to roll this equipment through deep snow.
