I bought this model recommended by my generator guy to set up a system that would !power my entire home if needed during hurricane season here in Florida. The set up was simple and as the ultimate test, had my wife complete the process on her own in case I wasn't home at the time. Worked like a charm

This is my second iGen purchase because I am so happy with the previous iGen2200 generator I purchased before Hurricane Ian. During that storm we ran the iGen2200 for 6 days straight without any problem. We have used our iGen2200 again during Hurricane Idalia and most recently again during Hurricane Milton. We are so happy with our Westinghouse iGen2200 that we decided to purchase a second (and slightly larger) iGen2800. Living in southwest Florida we have frequent hurricanes which can leave us without power for days. With either the iGen2200 or with our new iGen2800 genset we have backup power to run our refrigerator, a 10,000 but window AC, and power for our electronic devices. The iGen series are reliable, easy to start, and best of all very fuel efficient. We only need to keep 20 gallons of gas to assure we can run everything for two weeks if needed. We appreciate the value and reliability of the iGen series generators. Thank you.

I bought the iGen4000DFc earlier this week. After adding oil, fuel, and connecting the battery quick connect cable this thing fired right up. Plenty of power for camping trips, working around the house where you don't have outlets, or on job sites. It is really quiet and to my surprise it even has a handle that pulls out so you can wheel it around.

I wish everything I bought was as reliable as this generator. Right out of the box it started on the second pull. After starting, run very smooth. Then I turned it off and restart. On the first pull, it starts and runs a full load for at least two hours. Then tried it again. First pull start every time and works well. Had it for 9 days and it still performs very well. Would highly recomment it to everyone.

I just got this generator to prepare for future power outages. It was easy to setup and started right up. I like the having the different fuel option. So far have only tried propane but it was easy to connect and use. It was also pretty easy to move around after attaching the wheels. Definitely happy with my purchase.

I just bought this product yesterday, and now waiting for electrician to come set up for me. I have been reading the manual and find it very easy to navigate. I will return upon successful installation. It only took me 25 years to buy a generator, and look forward to having power when needed. Storms are getting heavy down here in GA.

We bought this product for when the power goes out. Once we figured out the 120/240 switch, as we bought a 30amp 125/240 Volt extension cord, the generator powered all that we needed at that time and we had plenty of watts to still use if we needed. My neighbor did not even know we had a generator running next door. The electric starts works great and starts up righ away.

I purchased the WGen10500TFc recently as a backup power source during storms and power losses to our home I purchased it based on reviews I have read about the unit and first hand experience from a family member who had and has used his with excellent results for his power needs

Didn't finish setup by adding oil and gasoline until power outage yesterday. I was so relieved to have purchased this electric start generator. It is a perfect generator for a woman to be able to rely on and maintain. Thank you to all the attention in the quick setup sheet with maintenance on back and the owner's manual. You Rock!

Just got the Westinghouse 5000. Followed the simple instructions regarding adding oil. Decided to try the propane fule first, so I just connected the gas regulator that was provided to one of my bbq tanks, turned on the power switch, pulled the starter one time and it started right up. It was more quiet than I had expected, and after the motor idled for a bit, I switched to the ECO mode, which brought motor rpms and sound down even lower. I had read some reviews where people had trouble restarting, so I turn it off, waited about 30 mins, and restarted it using the pull cord. It started on the 3 pull this time. I haven't tried the electric start as the battery hasn't been charged enough, but it came with a charger so that is what I will try nex. So far very impressed with the product.
