We live in the Houston Tx area. We purchased this generator to power our entire house and to get us through hurricane season. It was delivered next day, easy to assemble and once you get the wheels on, easy to maneuver. It is extremely heavy! We are very happy with our purchase and feel confident we made the right choice with this brand and model.

We bought it in preparation for more power outages. Since purchasing we haven't needed it, so it was worth the purchase, lol. But set up was easy, hoping we don't need to use it but we did have an electrician wire our house for it so it can run an AC unit and pool pump.

Own a Westinghouse gas powered welder/generator made back in the 1950s. worked like a charm. Gave it to son in law when I moved. It's still working. This new 9500DF generator seems to be of the same quality, nicely made machine. Glad Westinghouse is still around. gave ot to son

ok to assemble; big in size but provides enough capacity to run whole house equipment including HVAC, heating, all appliances. loved the 3 fuel type inlet. tried it on propane. worked very well. a little noisy but the best deal i could find for this price

I bought this to replace a generator I gave away to our church drive for North Carolina. The high reviews and dual fuel was a plus and the price is good. Have not tested it at time of writing the review. Packed well and glad they supplied the oil and propane line to get you started. Instructions are very clear and easy to read and follow. We purchased this generator keeping in mind reviews we saw and good experiences iof others. The unit was properly sized to our home. After hookup (in our case, natural gas) the unit started and ran flawlessly. We test started it one month later and it started right up. We expect it will preform the same as it did on our test blackout. We are very happy with the purchase so far.

I bought this a couple of months ago and it fired up as soon as I was done, putting oil in it and trying it. I've ran it several times for the break in time and it has started with absolutely no problem. I have also set this up to use as a back up generator for my house I highly recommend this Generator.

Bought this generator as a replacement for our LOUD and smelly 12 year diesel generator. I fired it up and threw the transfer switch without realizing that our house Air Conditioning was still on. However, to my surprise, the Westinghouse WGen 7500 had no problem running the entire house including the three ton air conditioning unit. Very impressive! The unit also comes with lots of useful accessories like a trickle charger to for the battery. Highly recommended!
