I bought this to replace a Generator which I bought years ago at Harbor Freight. Pros: Remote works well, Starts Quickly, is very compact, and has numerus circuit breakers. Cons: Being an inverter generator, I expected it to run near idle with no load, it runs well above idle., The CO2 detector is super sensitive, if you try to shelter it in any way in will stop. Some may consider this a positive, and finally It seems somewhat louder than my previous generator

Have been existing with a 15 year old portable generator during hurricane season (Florida resident) and decided to upgrade this year. The Westinghouse WGen7500DFc not only provides much more power output than the older one, the highlight as far as I am concerned is the electronic "push a button" start!!!!!! No more throwing my back out attempting go start the device with a "pull" cord. The "dual fuel" feature is also outstanding. We researched several generators and while this might not have been the cheapest available, any extra costs was worth it considering the features the new one provides.

I bought this generator in August 2024. Here it is, April 2025. So far I have been able to run/exercise it maybe 6 times. Then problems happened. First the start/stop button stopped working. Couldn't even start it with the recoil start. Westinghouse sent me a new button. I installed it myself. It wasn't easy. Could start and run, but only a few seconds (15-20) and then shut off. Westinghouse sent me a new CO Detector part. Same thing, would run a few seconds then stop. Now I'm going to take it to a Westinghouse service center. Overall I'm pleased withe machine and many features. Stay tuned

We live in Florida and purchased this as an insurance in the event of a hurricane. October 2024 Hurricane Milton occurred and we were 20 miles from the center and lost power. The generator was and will be for years to come a very important part of our hurricane insurance preparedness.

I am pleased with my purchase. The dual fuel electric start in a smaller generator is welcomed. I found that the 120 / 220 switch is not helpful as when utilizing 220, there is no 120 available for use at the generator panel. Disappointed in the low quality spark plug installed from the factory. (Torch Brand). Plug failed on initial testing. Overall, even with a few setbacks, I would purchase again.

Deliverd on 01/20/25. Electrician installed transfer switch on 01/24/25. Connected and tested the generator on the same day. Electrician was very impressed with the ease of start and how quiete it was. Powered the whole house overnight with the exception of the ac.without a gliche. Noise was not a factor and fuel consumption was surprisingly minimal.Very well constructed with a lot of thought about effeciency and user friendly.

Great buy! Live in Florida and need backup power source. Delivered very next day! Electrician installed interlock switch for easy switch over. Easy to put together as it was just wheels and feet. Added included oil, gassed it up and followed easy start instructions. Started with one push of a button.Tested under load and works as promised.Great purchase!

I ran it for about 45 minutes on propane and shut it down. It starts easy and runs like a champ, I will update the review after I hook it to NG to run it through the break-in period and change the oil. If you're going to use natural gas you need to Google what size gas line for a 15,000 watt generator. It says 3/4 but that would be for a 10 ft long run. Use this chart to find the maximum pipe run in feet for a gas line to a natural gas generator. Kilowatts (kW) Pipe Size (Diameter) 3/4" 1" 1 1/4" 1 1/2" 2" 2 1/2" 3" 7 - 8 55 200 820 10 20 85 370 800 13 - 14 10 50 245 545 16 - 17 40 190 425 If you don't have the line size right Beware of the load that you running.

I live in Houston Tx where we get storms and power outages. I purchased this generator to power my home with just 2 switches. After our last storm it was money well spent. Folks if you need a powerful yet reasonably priced generator look into this one.

Purchased this generator two weeks ago. The packaging is excellent, and assembly and set up was very easy. It started very easily with the push button start. Haven't had a power outage yet but feel I am definitely ready this year for whatever Mother Nature throws at me.
