It's misleading that the unflavored collagen peptides is labeled as tasteless and odorless because it's not true. There is actually a very strong and unpleasant (to me) taste to the product and it's especially noticeable in water and tea. I haven't been taking it long enough to see changes in my body so I can't comment on that yet but I have also reduced my intake to one scoop a day because the taste is so bad.

I do not go a day without my collagen peptides! yes it is an acquired taste & smell but the difference in my hair, skin, & all around body is a tell tale sign it works wonders. I have been using this product for over 6 months and never plan on stopping !

I love VP collagen peptides! I add a scoop or two to my coffee or smoothie every day. I also like adding it to my baked goods or oatmeal bowls! Although I am a firm believer that the key to health is a good diet and active lifestyle, this stuff gives me a boost that I can notice. It definitely supports hair and nail growth. I started using the collagen peptides to try to regrow and thicken my hair. I had undiagnosed Lyme disease for about 4 years, and was misdiagnosed with thyroid problems. One of the effects of this was my hair fell out at an alarming rate, and even though it could regrow, it seemed to be so thin and loosely attached to my head that I was afraid to even brush or comb it. I started using collagen peptides every day about 5 months ago, a scoop in my tea in the morning and a scoop at night. I noticed after a few weeks that I had kind of a crew cut look of new hair growing in all over my scalp under the hair I had left. In a month or two I looked like I had cut my bangs, even though I hadn't. I had to cut the rest of my hair shorter to match the new growth. It continues to grow in, it grows really fast, and feels thicker than it did even before I got sick. As an added benefit, my nails are also stronger and grow faster, too. I generally workout 4-5 days a week, mostly weights and was having increased joint pain. I heard about this from various people and I started mixing 1/2 a scoop into my coffee as a pre workout. It's really tasteless and dissolves in seconds! It did upset my stomach the first few weeks but I think it's because I haven't eaten beef products in over 10 years. I have also mixed it into yogurt, smoothies, and oatmeal and it's not grainy or anything weird.
