Overall this collagen is a good one. I've been using this brand for a little over a year. Over the past 3 years I've tried several different brands and collagen types in search for the one that fits all my needs. Just for reference I'm 52 yrs old, in good health and weight and regularly workout at the gym. I am wanting a collagen that addresses anti aging skin benefits, supports healthy joints and bones as well as healthy hair and nails. Due to hereditary traits, I already have severe arthritic hands. Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides works pretty well for the arthritis in my hands comparatively to other brands but as a downside, I feel like my skin is somewhat dry and non hydrated even though Vital Proteins contains hyaluronic acid. So I recently strayed for a couple of months to a competitive brand that also has hyaluronic acid. (FYI- Not many brands contain hyaluronic acid). This other brand also contained 5 types of collagen vs. Vital Proteins containing only 2 types. The other brand most definitely made my skin feel softer and more hydrated- I'm thinking because it had the added marine collagen in it, but it did not help with my aching arthritic hands at all. My hands ached so much that I ultimately came back to Vital Proteins. With that said, I wish Vital would come up with a collagen blend that fits all of my needs. My summary of Vital Proteins- Pros: Dissolves completely into hot beverages, has no taste, helps with arthritic hands and has the added Hyaluronic Acid, but I wonder if it's doing anything as it lacks skin hydration effects. Cons: Skin feels and looks dry

I am still hoping this product lives up to its claims. I switched from a different collagen powder to this as it is unflavored. Well, almost unflavored. Maybe it's just me but I still taste it slightly. Vital Proteins doesn't seem to work as quickly as the other brand; my nails aren't growing as quickly, and my skin isn't looking as good. I will give it another month, or two, before making a final decision on staying with it or not.

I started the collagen peptides about 45 days ago. I can 100% tell a difference in my hair, skin and nails. I started it just for my skin and really didn't know about the goodness it has for may hair and nails as well! So bonus on that! Love this product and will continue to use!!

I have been using the collagen peptides for almost two months now and I couldn't be happier. My hair and nails are so much stronger and my joints feel better too. I work out a lot and the joint support was very important to me. Recommend to anyone! I add it to my coffee every morning!

I just started using the Collagen peptides and was surprised how easily they dissolved into my drinks. I typically use it in my coffee in the morning, and in a protein shake or tea at night. After a week of use, a coworker just told me that I look great and my skin is glowing. The only thing I've changed recently was starting the peptides so I think it's already improving my skin tone!

Are you kidding me! You eliminated the scoop! Don't you know that's part of the ease to enjoy this product. If I had known I would have saved a scoop. I recycle faithfully. I wish you hadn't decided to do this for me. Respect your customers. Being aware of our health translates into being aware of our environment. Help us out. Bring back the scoop! The product is great. The lack of easy measuring is terrible.

What I've noticed most with this product is how fast my hair is growing. It works great in EVERYTHING and really is unflavored/unnoticeable. Makes ANY drink a great protein source, works well to make jello a great protein source and also works great when baking. I turned my friend on to the product and she loves it as much as I do! For the first time she has her own long nails (NOT acrylic ones). GREAT PRODUCT!!! Highly recommended!

This brand of collagen was recommended by my functional medicine practitioner. I like that the vitamin C is included since I've read you need it to reap the benefits of collagen. I'm currently taking in 1 scoop per day. I wouldn't say it's tasteless, but it's not bad. I mix it with mint tea and a tiny amount of grass-fed vanilla protein powder. It clumps initially when mixed with room temperature or warm liquids but if you let it rest for about 5 minutes it will fully dissolve. I'm doing auto ship every 8 weeks which makes it more affordable and I don't need to remember to order more. Taking this for gut health and so far I am tolerating it well and it is easy to incorporate into my day.

The pain I get in hip and low back from arthritis has significantly decreased and I'm sleeping better. I've also noticed my hair and skin feel softer. I will keep using. The reason for 4 stars is it doesn't dissolve as well as it should. I've tried a couple of other Collagen peptides and so far this is the best. A slight after taste but I can live with that. Thanks for a good product. Worth the money.

I really wanted to love this product, but I could not get past the taste. I have been using it for 2 weeks and it doesn't get better. I have tried dissolving it in any liquid possible but it never fully dissolves, so the taste is more noticeable. I discovered that if I put it in my coffee the bad taste is not as present. But I do not think the product with dissolving and taste issues is worth the price tag.
