I just started using this item and I hope it does what it say it will do. I wanted to address comments of people saying they are getting breakouts. When you are trying a product concerning skin care you will often get breakouts in the beginning because it is how your body gets rid of the toxins. Any product that works will do this so give the product a chance before you decide not to use it. Also for those who say its not mixing well I add a little at a time mixing as I go sprinkle, stir, sprinkle, stir. Hope this helps somebody. I am not giving a high rating only becacuse I have been using it less than one month but it does mix well hot or cold and it does not change the flavor of my drink.

I started about three weeks ago mostly for the joints, muscles benefits. I have had trigger point pain in my IT Band (which really hurts and can be crippling upon standing). I believe vital proteins is a contributing factor of the slight improvement I am noticing. Hoping it helps with my weak knees too. I will say there is a slight taste for me but that’s because I put it in my hot tea with just lemon. I’ve tried it with adding a tiny bit of sugar (which I don’t normally use) and there is no taste at all. So the taste depends on what you put it in. I’m guessing if it’s in anything with flavor like a smoothie or beverage there’s no taste. And to be clear the taste is not bad. I’m VERY finicky. What I do now is use one scoop, twice a day in my tea and it’s perfectly fine. I’m very happy I’ve added Vital Proteins to get healthy lifestyle. I’m giving it an overall rating of 4, because I want to see if there are continued benefits. Also I referred it to my sister and she is using it as well. No taste in her coffee with cream n sugar.

Initially, I wanted to buy collagen in pill form as the thought of adding a powder mix sounded dreadful. Powders never mix well and they always change the taste of what you are drinking. However, this product completely changed my mind. It mixes SO easily and truly has no taste at all. Better than I could have expected and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Truly without flavor, mixes well, and I love the results. It it filling, makes my skin and hair look great, and gives me the protein I need with few calories when I'm on a restricted diet. Love this product (I'm also addicted to the Matcha Collagen and Beauty Collagen).

I'm on a high protein / low carb diet. I love this drinkable collagen for the added protein and appetite control, but I also love it for skin and hair side effects. I like mixing this collagen with lemonade or tea. Little to no taste and dissolves very easily. Great intro product and can't wait to try more things from Vital Proteins.

After taking the VP Collagen Peptides w/hyaluronic acid for 6 months, I cannot believe how much better my nails are. I used to have a vertical split in one of my nails that repeatedly broke down to the nail bed. It is almost Gone!! My nails grow like crazy now. I have also noticed that my skin is much less drier than it used to be. I always had sort of ashy, dry skin and now my skin feels and looks much better. I almost never need to use hand lotion anymore, and I rarely even have to use chapstick. I haven't felt much improvement with my daily aches and pains but I'll keep using this in my morning smoothie everyday anyway.

I received 2 boxes of these at the end of 2023. In one box the collagen peptides had nearly reached the expiration date stamped on the side of the container and in another the expiration date wasn't until 2025. I'm extremely upset and disappointed in the lack of consistently high quality products, These should have never been sent to me. These are expensive products that I buy for their health benefits, and I should be able to expect products that are fresh and still have their full nutritional benefit and will last a reasonable time period. When ordering online, I should be able to expect that there will be an expiration date that is sufficiently past the date I purchased them, at least 6 months out. Clearly they can make products that expire over a year in the future so there is no reason I should be sent products that are about to expire.

There is a taste, there is even a smell when you mix it with water. It's off putting. I have tried to mix into cold water and hot water with some tea but only thing that helps is squeezing in a huge amount of lemon/lime. Had higher hopes for such the cost!

I really love this stuff - I put it in my hot tea every night before bed. As someone who exercises 6 days/week, I notice a huge difference in how my joints and body feels when I take this regularly... and all of the hair, skin, and nail benefits are a plus, too! :)

I had bariatric surgery over a year ago and really have to work to keep my protein levels up where they should be. I have tried so many different powders and drinks and this is by far the best. Not only does it have a nice amount of protein and not a lot of calories it is so quick to dissolve without any annoying lumps. And since it is tasteless I can add it to whatever I need to! And the collagen has helped with the hair loss that can plague many bariatric patients. My only issue is the container. I hope you are looking toward non plastic options in the future. We are reusing and recycling but would love to see a non plastic container. Otherwise, love, love, love this product!
