Tried this new product and definitely could smell a very unpleasant smell from the moment I opened the canister. I have always used collagen powder in my coffee so I definitely noticed this added a bad flavor to my coffee plus it doesn't not dissolve as well as the original. I simply cannot order again and go thru such unpleasantness, even if it has added benefit of the Vit. C and HA. Sad, as I was hoping this could be my new product I would always re-order.

I used 1-2 scoops of collagen peptides daily, in my coffee/tea right after my morning workout for about 8 months, and I never experienced any noticeable difference in my hair, skin, or nails. In fact, I thought that the collagen peptides may have been causing my face to break out more than usual. I had also heard that collagen peptides were a good post workout recovery aid, but again I experienced no noticeable faster muscle recovery. Now, I still use Vital Proteins collagen sparingly as a source of natural protein, but I'm unsure of the actual health benefits as I've done research and haven't found any strong evidence of collagen peptides increasing collagen production, or if the body is able to adsorb drinkable protein.

I like the flavorless collagen peptides because I'm not a big fan of flavored drinks and I can easily mix it into my water when I workout without a weird taste. However, I do sometimes have residue on the bottom of my water bottle and it gets a bit foamy. I think a blender bottle is probably the way to go.

I bought this product because it was recommended to me as a collagen supplement but what I didn't expect was the joint support! I had terrible looking skin, bruise very easily usually not knowing what I did, and my arms bled very easily until I added Collagen Peptides to my daily regime. You do have to give this some time to do its magic, but it is worth the wait. My hair stylist noticed thicker hair and no more shedding. I started Taking collagen because I've read reviews that's supposed to be really good for you and support healthy lifestyle. It's always good to include more protein. So far, I'm very happy with product and I feel pretty good but there's definitely an error with the serving size listed on the package. A serving size is 20 g, 4 Tbsp. This is incorrect it would be equivalent to 4 teaspoons or 2 tablespoons. I measured it out on my scale just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. Who knows if any of these powders actually do what they say they are going to do but at the very least I'd like to know I'm getting the correct serving size. I actually support the no scoop, packaging, and if there's a way to make the entire plastic bottle become more earth friendly, that would be a great step in the right direction as well. Who doesn't have a tablespoon or a teaspoon in their drawer they could easily measure out a serving size with???

Vital proteins collagen peptides has become a staple product in my house hold, diet, and morning coffee. I have seen such a big difference in my skin, hair, bowel movement (we all know that matters), and muscle recovery.
