Over the last couple of years, I've purchased probably 4-5 canisters of this collagen. I have always loved it and recommended it to others. This last canister is different. It doesn't dissolve as easily and completely as it has before. It tends to clumps. I'm not sure why. I still think it's good, but I wish it would go back to being so easily dissolvable.

one of my son's sent this to me because I had been in a horrible car wreck. At 56 I broke 3 ribs, sternum, knocked out a tooth, right clavical and exploded my t6 (kind of the middle of my back). I had back surgery 15 days after the wreck. Then I had my clavical repaired 4 months later. I had to heal enough in my back to be released from the back brace. You have a fantastic product but have chosen to put it in an ill designed, ridiculously complicated, disaster of a container. I would be completely unable to access the contents if I didn't have access to a saw. That's right, I have to use a saw in the garage to get it open. I have terrible arthritis in my hands, this is the ONLY thing I can't get open using my creative methods. What in the world are you doing? I hope you get rid of these outrageous containers ASAP. Until you do I'm forced to go elsewhere for my collagen. What a shame!!! You say you are “saving the planet” or some silly thing. I guess your thinking is if you can make a container that NO ONE will buy, you'll save the world because you'll have no customers therefore no need for containers!

I absolutely LOVE my Vital collagen! I struggle with bad hips, though I'm only in my mid-twenties, which normally limits my ability to do cardio i.e. running and the stairmaster. Since incorporating collagen into my daily routine about a month ago, I've noticed decreased stiffness/pain in my hips and have actually increased the amount of cardio I'm doing! This is my Holy Grail product. The one I can not be without. I buy the canister, but I also keep the individual packets for on the go. If I had to choose just one Vital Proteins product, this would be the one. But thankfully, I don't have to choose. To be honest, I haven't found one of their products that I do not like. I use the hydration packets in my water bottle during the day, and I also love the collagen gummies! I just started using the ACV gummies and so far I really like them as well.
