We purchased this generator keeping in mind reviews we saw and good experiences iof others. The unit was properly sized to our home. After hookup (in our case, natural gas) the unit started and ran flawlessly. We test started it one month later and it started right up. We expect it will preform the same as it did on our test blackout. We are very happy with the purchase so far.

The generator has a really nice finish and looks great. Love the dual fuel capability and the electric start feature. I ordered the wheel and handle kit which was very easy to install and made the generator much more user friendly. I now feel prepared for whatever old man winter sends my way.

After unboxing my new Wgen10500 generator and attaching the wheels and legs, and filling the oil, it started right up on the very first try on propane. No hesitation at all. It runs strong. It's about as loud as a gas lawn mower. I'll be adding an inlet box and 50 amp transfer switch as well as a natural gas outlet for uninterrupted operation the next time a storm knocks out the power. Some might question whether it's wise to invest a few thousand dollars for a backup generator when the power rarely goes out. Think of it as homeowners insurance or auto insurance. You don't want to have to use it but in the event something happens you're glad you had it. This is a great investment!
