Wired this generator to my sub panel and started it up and started turning on breakers. I was impressed with its output. Was able to run most of the house. Water Pump, freezers, refrigerators and more. Easy to assemble and start. Ran for 5 hours and never worried only impressed.

Product is exactly what I hoped for after Hurricane Helene. Setup was easy and having 3 options to fuel the generator is a definate plus. I am no longer worried if the power goes out as I know I'll have the power I need to get through it. Only part I need to update is even though it is portable, it's heavy so I will likely put a pad outside and cover it so I don't have to move it when I use it.

We chose the Westinghouse iGen2550DFc 2550 Watt Dual Fuel because it best fit our needs for a small generator for camping and emergency power during power outages. We use the generator to recharge the Airstream batteries while boondocking. It will run the Airstream air conditioner (we have a soft start) if nothing else is running. It is also handy to keep the house refrigerator and house freezer going during power outages like we had during hurricane Helene. One nice feature of the Westinghouse iGen2550DFc is the 30-amp RV connector, although it does not produce 30 amps unless paralleled with another generator, it makes connecting the generator with our travel trailer very easy. It can be connected to propane port on our Airstream with a straight hose, or directly to a propane tank using the regulator and hose sent with the unit. Using propane, the available power from the generator is a slightly less than running it with gas but we generally use propane. This is an important feature for us camping. The generator is very quiet. It is the perfect choice for us.

We have been shopping for a generator for awhile and this one has everything we could want. Especially since gasoline has gotten so high, it’s nice to have the propane option. Love the key fob for starting it and electric start. We are very happy with it.

I bought this generator in anticipation of a winter power outage. This model will be practical, as it uses both propane and gasoline. Its relatively small size is space efficient, yet it promises sufficient power. Look forward to using it in the event we need to. Feel secure having it.

I purchased this generator end of August when we had a storm and the power went out for days. It was really easy and straightforward to assemble and put the wheels on, then just add the oil and gas following the instructions, then stared the generator. It ran continuously for almost two days with no problems at all, it was sufficient for my home. I’m very satisfied with this generator and feel protected in case of any future power outages.

Our employer purchased 4 of these IGen 4500 generators for each of our clinics. Being rural clinics, we host mobile shot clinics for the different communities. These generators run the lights, heaters and mister fans for those hot days> they are extremely easy to operate, and the nurses appreciate the handle that pulls out for ease of movement. One more thing! They purr like a kitten not loud and obnoxious.

I purchased this cover when I purchased my new Westinghouse generator. I found the install instructions lacking in clarity and used a YouTube video to assemble it. The cover itself seems durable, and it does cover the critical components, while allowing the generator to function properly.

I just bought this product yesterday, and now waiting for electrician to come set up for me. I have been reading the manual and find it very easy to navigate. I will return upon successful installation. It only took me 25 years to buy a generator, and look forward to having power when needed. Storms are getting heavy down here in GA.
