This is an awesome generator! I haven't used gas yet cuz I'd rather run it with the propane tanks.I like that it can be either or. It's not too loud either and easy to start. I can even start it with the remote and it's very easy to roll around. I definitely recommend this generator

WE get many power outages where I live. I see neighbors with their generators outside and many extension cords going through their windows. This generator is great because I had my breaker box wired to receive the power from this generator. I also love that fact that I can connect it to my natural gas line outside my house. No messing with gasoline or propane tanks.

I bought this for my husband a few weeks ago and he loves it. It’s pretty quiet when using propane and he’s happy about that! It was easy to put together. We bought this as it’s been cold here in VA and the power had gone out briefly so we figured we better invest in a generator and this was the one he picked out. Recommend!

I bought this generator for use with my RV after my wife and I decided to take a trip to the Big Bend region of Texas. We would be boondocking a total of 9 nights over a two week span and needed AC for our two labs. This generator was the perfect size (and weight) for us to handle and performed great. We chose to use propane rather than gasoline and were happy with the performance we got.

I have been using this Westinghouse Gen. for about a month now without a problem at all barn with no power ! Now I can water up straight from the well and the lighting ! It has been the best thing I have ever done for this barn and livestock ! Happy Homesteader

I bought this in November 2024 because I have a dog and a cat at home and with the power going out I would be hard-pressed to find a hotel that would accept my animals. I am one of those crazy cat ladies that will not leave their pets behind. They are part of my family! This generator lets me stay at home and keep myself and my animals comfortable and safe in our home. I had the utilities guy come out and put a transfer switch in my circuit breaker panel and the gas guy come and hook up a connect so I can run it through natural gas and it basically runs my whole house. I love it!

I purchased this unit in April9,2025. I purchased it so I would be able to use majority of my household appliances and air conditioner. Living here in Florida with hurricanes and loosing power. Also the convenience being a woman and using propane. .

Starting with packaging and assembly, awesome, the 14500 is large, but at 70 plus years old , I could even assemble it by myself, even sent the exact amount of oil, no second guessing, we were involved with hurricane Helene, ready for any weather now, t/y

I bought this unit a few weeks ago mainly because I did not want to have gas in my camper van. The propane was easy to hook up and it started after just a few pulls. The power seems to be adequate for my needs. Is is quiet and appears to be clean running...and their is always the ability to use gasoline if necessary though I have not tried that yet.

This generator was easy to set up. During power outages, it will be able to handle running all of my major systems in the house. I hope I won’t need to use it often, but will be essential during those times I do need it. I would definitely recommend this!
