My family and I really enjoyed this stew! I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to add any seasonings or zuzh it in any way at all. The chicken was tender and the carrots still had a little bit of snap to them. Everything was seasoned well, for once. I served the stew over mashed potatoes, as shown on the box. I think that the next time I buy this, I'll probably try it as filling in a pot pie.

A great, fast %26 easy dinner. We served it over instant mashed potatoes as pictured. The chicken was incredibly tender, even though we chose the microwave method for heating. It is garlic and onion forward, and I wish for a few more carrots but overall, this was very satisfying and a great fall dinner!

A pretty good meal to have on hand. A little herby and heavy on the carrots, but the chicken was very good. We served over mashed potatoes as suggested. In total it only took about 6 minutes to get the entire meal on the table. Gluten free too!

My 20 year old son liked it - a lot. I did not care for it as much. It was OK, I wouldn't buy it again. The chicken is tender, but it was light on the vegetables. The sauce you see in the picture is more like brown water, less like the "gravy" you find in a stew. The mushrooms had the texture like cardboard....like I was eating dehydrated mushrooms that had not rehydrated. Very mediocre.

The taste overall was good. The main problem is my husband has Alpha Gal and we would never believe we needed to check the ingredients of something called "Chicken Stew". DO NOT BUY if you have Alpha Gal! They have Natural Beef Flavoring. Don't know what it consist of, but my husband was lucky to only have minor reaction.

Very watery. if I am getting a ready made meal I don't want to have to do more to it to make it better. and like the other reviews said needs more veggies. also the herb flavor is overpowering. I could not finish the pack because it was just too herby

Let me start by saying, I love salt... probably too much. Now, having said that... This product is way too salty even for me!! The chicken is tender, the carrots are chewy, the mushrooms are very chewy. The first time I ate it, I put it over mashed potatoes... that got a yuk. With the leftover "stew", I ate it like a soup but added water to dilute the salty brine. That helped a little. Would I get this again? That would be a "NO". I will say my dogs did seem to complain too much. (very diluted and took out the mushrooms)

I don't care for mushrooms but thought I'd be a good sport and try it. The closest comparable smell coming out of the microwave was a rodeo but didn't want to sway my kids' opinions, so I didn't say anything about it. I tried it anyway and couldn't eat more than one bite. Still didn't say anything and my 8 year old asked what smelled like buttcheeks. Pretended I wasn't sure. Finally my husband tried it and asked if it tasted okay to me, so I came clean. None of us ate any of it and we are usually big fans of these types of meals. The members mark chicken bites that are used in here are so good, so we'll stick with those. Maybe we got a bad batch but we won't try again.

read the sodium content before purchasing. I did not look until after I took a bite. It is way to salty !!!! Throwing it in the trash. 1000mg sodium is way to much for a 1 cup serving size.
