It wasn't overpowering and everyone said how nice it smelled. It's a great scent and a really good price.

When it was time to purchase replacement refills I bought these again because I LOVED THE SCENT. I immediately noticed a different smell as soon as I took the cap off. I asked my friends who used the same ones and she said that the scent has changed! I was IN LOVE with the original scent this Lavender oil plug in had! So disappointed! WHY change what was great? Now I have to find a different fragrance.

I was looking forward to trying this because it sounded like it would smell really good. I wanted to put it to the test so I put it in the stinkiest room in my house: the cat litterbox room. Initially I had it set to the highest setting but I had to turn it down to the lowest because the scent was so strong it was overwhelming. Even on the lowest setting I can smell it throughout my house and it kinda slaps you in the face when you walk in the front door. While the scent is very strong it's not unpleasant but it really doesn't smell as herbal as I was hoping. It definitely smells like chemicals and not natural scents. It's a flowery smell with citrus notes. It isn't bad but I don't think I will be buying it because I prefer more natural smells. I will say that I have been using it for over a month and I still have about half of the fragrance left to go.
