The packaging is sealed extremely well and you need scissors to open it which could be inconvenient if you don't have any 🤷🏻‍♀️. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent on the scratch and sniff sticker on the front of the packaging actually smelled quite nice, however it smelled worlds different once I got this plugged in. It smelled like one of those scent gel clings in a porta potty. I put the scent level at the mid way point, and it didn't take long for my entire room to smell like a (clean) porta potty and give me a terrible migraine. I also wasn't impressed with the design of the warmer, mainly because it did not have a light on it.

I was sent the lavender and chamomile scent to test out and it did not disappoint. It's floral but not headache inducing. It smells very calming. I love that you can adjust the intensity of the output by turning the top to the desired strength. One of these usually lasts me about 2 months on the lowest setting. I dont know if they updated the warmer but it is not like the older ones that I am used to. This one was so hard to remove the refill once it has been inserted. I had to wedge a key and pry it out. When I did that, it dripped a little on my bed and the oil got all over my hands. The older model, the refill comes out with a little wiggle and pull. I would use this up and just buy the refills to use with my older warmer plug-in.

The Lavender and Chamomile scent is very peaceful and the scent is impactful as it can spread to a wide room. I believe for an air freshener it is very effective.

This is my first such plug in oil warmer, and I am pleasantly surprised at how well it works. The ability to control the strength is nice, as I am using it in a smaller room and full strength would likely be a tad overwhelming. As it is, it fills the room with a nice touch of fragrance, but isn't obnoxious or cause any headache to the people in my family that are a bit sensitive to fragrances. I will definitely be getting a few others for more rooms.
