[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to share my honest experience with the Vital Proteins Strawberry Lemonade Collagen Peptides. The packaging is an eye catching pink and very lightweight making it easy to store and use. The lid also mentions it uses ninety percent less plastic which is a nice touch. However I was honestly a bit disappointed because when I opened it the powder filled less than two thirds of the container. The collagen itself is a fine white powder with a very pleasant and light fruity smell. It dissolves incredibly fast in water in just a few seconds turning into a cloudy light pink drink. The strawberry lemonade flavor is a great balance of sweet and sour. It leans slightly more on the sweet side but is not overly sweet at all especially since it has zero grams of sugar per serving making it very easy to drink. I have not had any side effects from drinking this every day. Since these are collagen peptides meant to support skin hair and nails I know I need to use it longer to see major effectiveness. However my skin already seems a bit brighter and fresher. I am hoping to see even more great results with continued use.

At first it had a bit of an aftertaste that I didn’t care for but after continuing to try it I didn’t really notice it! I definitely noticed a difference in my hair, skin, and nails!

But this lemonade version might have me changing the way I have my collagen, especially in the summertime. It is really delicious and refreshing, honestly a little nostalgic it kind of reminds me of the pink lemonade powder that came in the little barrel shaped containers. It’s an easy way to get your collagen on a warm day, and bonus is a way to drink another cup of water. The only downside for me is that it is a little more challenging to mix it in a cold glass of water versus how easily the unflavored mixes into my hot morning coffee. The recommendation is 3 tablespoons per serving size so it’s a decent amount of powder to get all mixed up.It’s still absolutely worth it though.
