Great unit-nice operating and maintenance features

Just bought this and ran it for 2 hours to break in. Very impressed. All tools needed to assemble are high quality. Easy assembly. Much quieter than a regular generator, stable power, on-off switches/breaker for the 30R and 50R receptacles, covers for receptacles, remote start, displays gas fuel level and estimate of run time remaining. Also many nice features for ensuring it will work when needed and to ease maintenance such as included batter tender and port, attached oil drain hose, attached carburator bowl drain hose. Only minor complaint is that the wheels could be a little wider to ease rolling on my gravel driveway.

Keep discovering more features

We are pleased with our purchase. The generator is loaded with thoughtful features. We are especially happy it came with a battery charger we can leave plugged in since we live in a bitter cold northern climate. We haven't had to rely on the generator yet, but I feel confident in its build quality.

Awesome generator

Just bought this generator after the 2026 ice storm where we were without power for 5 days. Have a couple of smaller generators we used to power heaters, charge phones, etc. plan for this one is to add the connections to be able to selectively run all critical circuits during power failures.

iGen11000TFc - Very satisfied

I was debating between the iGen11000 and a similar competing product. What swayed me to the iGen was a significantly lower price, the 3 year warranty, and the included trickle charger. Overall it seems to be very well built. I found the minimal assembly (feet, wheels, and handle) to be quick and easy, especially with the included tools which were surprisingly good quality. Even though it's a fairly heavy machine, it was easy to roll in and out of my garage and down a pathway. I do have a small quibble with the included oil funnel. While it worked just fine, the plastic tube has threads and a rubber washer on the end that goes into the fill hole, presumably to prevent spills when filling. However the threads are much too small to engage the threads in the engine fill hole. Seems like an oversight. I decided to use propane for the initial startup and it started right up and ran smoothly. I hooked up a couple lights and a portable electric heater and everything worked as expected. The information display works fine and is easy to read. While running (eco mode off), I found the iGen11000 to be fairly quiet although just a little bit louder than I expected. Since this is my first generator and I didn't have a frame of reference I decided to check the sound level using a db app on my phone, which reported it to be around 66 db from 25 feet away, which is in line with the specs and other reviews I have seen. The remote fob works well when outside, but from inside my house it was a bit hit or miss. I also picked up a rain cover that will protect the electronics from inclement weather. Overall I am very satisfied with my new iGen11000TFc and am confident that it will meet my needs during any future power outages.

easy to put together, wheels, front pads and handl

earlier review of 4 stars, now I would like to give 5 stars, very quiet and found the Westinghouse video on making the ground floating neutral to plug into transfer switch, ran the break in of 5 hours without setting off the co sensor which was one of concerns, absolutely love it now !!!!

iGen11000TFc Inverter Generator

Packaging was excellent which gave confidence nothing was damaged. The generator was easy to assemble. We bought this to potentially be a whole home backup for power outages here in PA. It's easier to move around than I thought it would be with the never-flat wheels & the foldable handle. Looking forward to getting through the break in period to see how it handles our geothermal system.

Tri Fuel Rocks!

Just purchased. Got everything hooked up to run on natural gas and so far I've just tested with NG. Looking forward to not having to worry about getting/keeping fuel and it going stale or gumming up the carb. I'm also happy to have the option for propane and gasoline in the unlikely event that NG is disrupted.

So far so good

Just got my iGen11000TFc. So far I just have 1 hour of break-in time on Propane. It is quieter than the Generac open frame generator it is replacing. It is also physically smaller even though it puts out 33% more running watts. It will run my recently replaced deep well pump & new furnace both of which are full of electronics. That is something my older Generac would not do and why I am replacing it. I guess that inverter technology is necessary today. I am taking off a star because it came with a damaged bolt to assemble the handle, a missing clip for the cover and a vacuum hose that is kinked because it is too short. I haven't dealt with customer service yet. Also, I wanted to order some replacement parts and several were out of stock like the spark plug, fuel filter and spark arrestor... the stuff you want to have on hand for just in case.

Trifuel, 50amp receptacle

Have help unpacking this beast it's heavy and awkward seems how they couldn't be bothered to just install the wheels and handle at the factory. Seems good but no idea about its longevity. Too early to tell after only 2 tenths of an hour of run time. It's not as quiet as I had hoped and it should have come with a quick connect adapter for propane instead of having to screw the hose on all the time. It's big, it's heavy, and it's bulky. Time will tell how it holds up.

1st time buyer

Just about through break-in period . Everything working as it should . Gone is the anxiety of a long power outage. Decided on an inverter generator of this size because of the low THD and being able to run the whole house through an inlet plug with lockout . Had my HVAC son install an easy air soft start kit . less than 20 amps on startup for AC and 14 running amps which leaves plenty of power for the other things , even hot water .
