Works good

I got this because I wanted some thing quieter than older style generators and to run my electronics without worrying. Only 4 stars bc eco switch not working. Generator won't rev up when turned off.

Well built. And has all the bells and whistles.

My research and speaking with people about other generators, led me to a decision on purchasing this Westinghouse iGen 12000 TFc. (3 year warranty) I also want to thank Westinghouse for the free upgrade to natural gas and generator cover.

Lots of features, well-built, and quiet.

Loaded with features, well built, quiet, and very capable. Included in the box were all the supplies and tools needed to assemble it (which is very simple) and get it up and running. A propane hose connection is also included, which made it possible for me to start the break-in process using propane as my fuel source. It's heavy, but the pull-handle and wheels make it mobile enough to get it where you need it. You simply need to attach the wheels and handle, connect the battery with the quick connection, add the included quart of oil, and fuel it up. Then you're ready to go. During the break-in period, I fluctuated the power load by connecting some portable 1500W heaters to it and turning them on and off periodically (as advised). The instructions say to not exceed 50% power load for the first 5 hours of operation. The unit seemed to handle the shifting power load seamlessly. The remote start is super handy. But you can also use the push-button start or the pull rope. It feels and operates like a high quality machine. I'll likely need to add the high elevation kit to improve fuel efficiency since we're above 5000 feet elevation in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Had to pick it up in NV because they wouldn't ship it to CA even though it's CARB certified and on the approved list to be sold in CA. Not sure the reason for the hassle, but this is the one I wanted after reading reviews. I'm glad I could get it, and so far, I'm very pleased.

Looks Great! Runs Great!

Seems High Quality. Set up and maintenance paperwork are clear. I've only ran it on gasoline. It's only been used about 12 hours. But it has ran great, starts great. Display screens are helpful on the generator. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase so far but I'm just letting you know I haven't ran it for long periods for back up power yet but so far I'm very happy.

Excellent Fit & Finish

Just received my new iGen12000TFC and got it unpacked and assembled. Build quality, fit, and finish is appears quite good. The iGen12000 has the pass through battery charging port and the 50amp breaker that a similar product from the yellow generator company lacks for roughly the same price. I look forward to testing out the iGen12000TFC and will update my review once I do.

Whole-house Backup Generator

The 12000W tri-fuel inverter generator is easy to assemble and operate safely and properly. It was given a test run as if we had a power outage. We found that we could rely on it to supply whole-house power, as it easily handled our HVAC system and all the typical household appliances. It is truly a whole-house backup generator solution. The user manual is helpful.

So many great features

This generator is packed with features too numerous to mention. We wanted to switch to a lower THD generator and finding this one, with this much power, with an inverter made this a no brainer. For our needs this can power every necessity in our home. Remote start is a great bonus!

Florida Homeowner says this thing is a beast!

This thing is a beast- can power all my fridges and lights and even my home AC. I love that it can use any of 3 fuels. Should make it easy to find fuel during a hurricane, etc. I live in Florida. MUCH quieter than my old frame non-inverter style and it was just 3000 watts. I use the pull start but the remote works just fine.

A most to have !!!

I just received this unit two days ago. I really like the design and features. Will be using it in my other home for the hurricane season. My purchase is the perfect size for my need and portability. Being tri fuel is a great advantage since I have all of them available. The only thing to consider is that it's heavy, so be prepare, but I don't think is that bad, the handle and the wheels makes it easier to move.

Great features and price

Still in break in mode. Generator arrived in great shape. Setup was easy with just installing the handle, front legs, and rear wheels. After break in and testing, I'll change the oil. Then I need to unbond the neutral and ground so I can hook to my power panel with an interlock. Using the 50 amp feed to my power inlet box. This unit should get us thru power outages.
