My 13 year old Westinghouse 9000watt open framed generator burned up in a recent fire. It was insanely loud but worked us through many power outages over the years. This new inverter generator is incredibly quiet in comparison to our old one. My neighbors will appreciate the reduced noise when the next outage occurs. It looks really nice as well.I like the remote start/stop feature and digital display.

Just bought this and am very pleased that I did. -Great features - circuit breakers, no flat tires, load data center, hoses attached to drain carburetor and change oil, less than or equal to 3% THD -Packaged very well. -Easy assembly - nice tools included to mount wheels, stabilizer feet, and handle. -Very quiet when running - being an invertor generator it only revs up as needed (unlike my older and smaller one that ran at full throttle when it sensed a load - this will save one fuel). -Easy to roll around as needed. -I ordered a Dfc (dual fuel model) but Westinghouse gave me a free upgrade to a Tfc (tri fuel model) I was considering a Honda Eu7000 but went with this Westinghouse iGen 12000 instead and am really glad I did (the Westinghouse costs less than 1/2 the Honda generator and has more / nicer features). I wired up a 50 amp cable and broke the generator in using the things in my barn. Have yet to see how it will handle the required things in my house during a power outage. Overall / so far it seems to be a perfect generator. Time will tell. I did a lot of research and Westinghouse came out on top in all but price. It had the least amount of negative reviews across many websites. Thank you Westinghouse

Just received it. wheels and handle went on fast with included tools. Added the included oil and fresh gas and it started right up. Packaging was great. Have not added a load yet but did voltage test all outlets. going to run it for 3/4 hours no load then start adding items up to 50% of running wattage for a break-in period.

I purchased this two weeks ago. I did the break in, and ran everything in my home for 4 hours. So far so good. This generator is very quiet. It started right up the first time I used it. I love the data center readout. I was able to see exactly how many kilowatts everything in my home was drawing. This generator was more than adequate to carry the load. I used all three start options, the remote, push start, and the pull cord. It started right up all three times without any trouble. I love the battery trickle charger. My last generator did not have that feature and I had a difficult time remembering to charge the battery. All in all, it seems to be a good purchase. Time will tell.

Use it to power our coffee trailer. More powerful and longer running than our Predator 9500 generator, which would occasionally trip the breaker or fault on false high CO level. Added oil (which was included) and gas, connected battery and generator started immediately. Easy to assemble. Nice to have multifunction display showing fuel level and power level among other things. Haven't used propane or NG yet, however the connection looks very easy.

Very satisfied with the generator. We had one 3 hour power outage so far. Simply hooked the generator to the 50 AMP connector we had installed for the house. It ran everything we needed- well pump, lights, 2 refrigerators and a freezer, internet and fans. Very quiet. I feel we're well prepared for an extended outage as we've experienced in previous hurricane seasons.

Well, I bought 4 of these for my business so you'll see 4 reviews to get the bonus covers--all the same, so you can skip the other 3. They generally are quiet for the size of them. I purchased to power mobile office trailers. Think of RV's but with a lot more power requirements. As recommended, I set them all up, filled with oil, ran for about 5 hours at times with loads but most of the time just at idle. Hope that was enough. Changed the oil today and drained out a lot of metal fines. I didn't know you should do this with new motors. Will definitely do this with any gas motor I buy in the future. It was very obvious the metal fines. Refilled with full synthetic oil. Easy to access. No problems there. I do not have any experience with Westinghouse, so no comments there. But for the price, size, and reviews I hope these things are good and will last. I will only give 5 stars for things I have used for real and not just looked at out of the box. Could update in the future after a good 6-12month trial. These will be used every day, not just for a few hours or days until the power gets restored. This IS my power source, so hope they prove to be solid machines that last.

So far, this generator has run well, started easy and done what I needed it to do. I have had a number of shutoffs from the CO detector, even in pretty wide open areas, so I'm not sure if it's set too sensitive or what. Other than that, it's done a good job.

Just picked up inverter and read directions prior to starting. Had issues with gas line not being connected to bottom of the tank. The quality control department left the gas line disconnected. When I went to fill tank with gas, it went out the detached line all over garage floor. Not sure why it was not connected. Have not used inverter yet. Will do a test run in the next day or two. We bought this 12000-Watt Remote Tri Fuel Inverter Generator with CO Sensor after going through a 21 hour power outage on July 3. We've also had 3 other shorter outages in the past 3 years. This item was recommended to us and has multiple features that we like and need. We haven't used it yet but have much peace of mind that when the next outage occurs we will be ready.
