I recently purchased the Westinghouse iGen12000TFc generator after a few long power outages. The unit provides enough power to run what's needed for my home. The electric and remote start are nice additions, but still has the pull start if needed. The gasoline tank holds almost eight gallons, so plenty of run time between fill-ups. I have not run it on propane or natural gas, but additional fuel options are a good thing, albeit at a lower output wattage. The control panel has a good layout as the indicators and switches are easily identifiable. Ample output terminals for a transfer switch, RV connection or an extension cord if needed. The unit is a bit heavy, but rolls easily and the handle locks in the collapsed and extended position. I was surprised how quiet this unit is compared to others I have used in the past.

I bought this generator because I live off-grid it's helpful. But seems to go through both propane and gas so fast. I used it an average if 8 to 10 hours 5 days a week. The pull cord, which I've barely touched is almost ripped completely apart. Not sure why that happened. Mostly have been using the electric start. Not sure why I haven't been able to use the remote start. Otherwise seems good so far. Hope the company can fix my pull cord and whatever caused it to tear so early.

Bought after a particularly bad power outage that made me say "never again". Paired with a 50A Transfer Switch, it is capable of powering every electronic device in my 2000sqft 4 bed 3 bath house OR starting the A/C. It is also exceptionally quiet - you are able to have a conversation next to it and barely raise your voice - but this is expected out of an inverter generator. Assembly was straightforward and the generator is easily maneuverable with the handle Only reason I am giving 4 stars is that, up until this point, I have not needed to use it to combat an actual outage. If I am allowed to edit this review in the future after such a situation, I will update my rating accordingly - as of September 23, 2026 this has not happened.

After extensive research and looking at reviews, I purchased the iGen11000TFc Inverter Generator to pair with my home battery backup system. Set up was easy, documentation and instructions were clear. The generator started right up and is very quiet! Glad I got it prior to the start of winter storm season.

I ordered this about a week ago. So far, so good. Whisper quite compared to my old genny. Love the ease of use. The only complaint I have so far is that the threads on the provided oil funnel don't fit the threads on engine housing. They are 2 different sizes.

We bought the Westinghouse Gen12000TFc for our mobile ice cream trailer, Hippie Dippie Ice Cream Shoppe, and so far we’ve been really happy with it. We needed something that could keep up with our freezers, refrigeration, AC, lights, and everything else we run during events, and this generator has done the job without any drama. We also love having the option to use gas, propane, or natural gas. When you’re constantly on the move, having that flexibility is a big plus. It’s been reliable, easy to use, and gives us one less thing to worry about on busy event days. Definitely a solid choice for anyone running a food trailer, RV, or mobile setup.

So far, so good. Ran on propane once. Very quiet. Provided funnel looked like it should thread to oil fill but was too small. Not a big deal. One of the wheel axels was difficult to tighten. Threads were likely a little gummed up. Again, no big deal.

I was surprised at the quality this generator. The fit and finish are excellent. Access for maintenance is spot on. Especially compared to other manufacturers who seem to treat serviceability as an afterthought. Started first time and ran good. Had a small load on it It and it performed well. I only ran for a short time because I am waiting on a high altitude kit (6200ft). I will try and revisit after install is complete. I recommend this unit.

Hands down, one of the best generators I've ever owned, completely blew away Generac portable generator, barely even a blip when my AC came on, didn't even have to put in a soft starter for my AC. I love the front panel showing the kilowatt usage, the highest it got with my AC unit was about 8K, which is great. And it is by far the quietest generator I've ever heard, even when it's under load and it ramps up.

I just purchased this item. Assembly was easy enough, they also give you the tools to put it together which was nice. While I haven't started it, all visual assessments point toward a well made generator. This unit is loaded with features, and will help me run my fully electric home.
