Runs like it's fueled by Freedom

Bought this bad boy a month ago, and I swear it's been the MVP of my work. Starts up easier than my coffee maker, runs quieter than my neigbor's gossip, and powers everything like it's training for the apocalyse. I've used it for all the jobs. If this thing had a dating profile, I'd swipe right every time.

Reliable so far, 250hrs in

3 oil changes and 250 hrs so far. Spark plug still in great shape and filter looks clean. I've used propane exclusively. managed to get just up to 8000 watts draw. impressive. I sometimes do have it trip, if im charging lithium battery bank at 5000w plus add another cross-load of 500w+. I guess that is reasonable though. This generator has a _3_ stage regulator. The usual 2 stage + DUCAR 230179. The DUCAR part is usually mounted on generator frames. If you try to hard-line this generator or use a different regulator assembly, it will vent non-stop and fail to start. Solution was to keep this DUCAR DPRA part (Westinghouse 60490020), by disconnecting the 2 stage regulator bits. Then you can use the 3/8 flare to connect to a 1000L torpedo tank (with normal 0.5psi reg). Despite the name, its not a hi/low side regulator, but It acts as a "vacuum" for the carburetor.

A most to have !!!

I just received this unit two days ago. I really like the design and features. Will be using it in my other home for the hurricane season. My purchase is the perfect size for my need and portability. Being tri fuel is a great advantage since I have all of them available. The only thing to consider is that it's heavy, so be prepare, but I don't think is that bad, the handle and the wheels makes it easier to move.

Haven't used it yet

As I said, haven't used it yet. Put it together serviced it filled the oil. Set it up in my shed. Start it up just fine. Rent it for a few minutes to make sure everything was all right. Went out this morning to start it. 32° wouldn't start cranked popped wouldn't start possible low battery. I have got the charger on it now. I will know better once it's charged

Very useful and great generator

Ultra-quiet operation. Effortlessly powers the whole house without any issues. Setup was simple and straightforward. Bought this generator to prepare for an ice storm and heavy winds—and it turned out to be a great decision since we lost power twice for more than three days each time. It kept everything running without a hitch. It started up easily every time, and the large wheels made it very easy to move around.

Great package and great features for the money

I bought this because I really wanted to try fuel capability. The rotary dial to select the fuel type is handy versus having to open the side of the machine and flip valves. Assembly was a piece of cake and only took a few minutes. I have not actually had to use it yet, but will post another review as soon as I do.

Very Pleased with the iGen11000TFc

I finally had the opportunity to use the generator for the first time and it worked perfectly. I ran it on LPG and used it for about 4 hours. For a generator it was very quiet. I like that the connections and controls are all on one side and the exhaust is on the other. It started like a champ on the first try. Very simple to use. Changing the oil was very easy. The generator has a drain tube that extends outside of the frame so it is very neat and efficient to drain the oil into a shallow pan. I used the recoil start as a test. It started on the second pull. Please note the manual choke is a black lever located inside the blue cover (remove the cover to find it) that has the recoil handle on it. It is located by the carburetor and air filter. Move the choke lever towards the front handle to close it (during a cold day, cold start) to start the motor and then open it again once the motor is running. I could not find the location of the choke lever in any of the supplied documentation. Note: you only need to worry about the choke if using the recoil start, otherwise the choke is controlled automatically when using the key fob or pushbutton start on the control panel. While running the generator, I was able to watch TV and charge my phone and tablet, so the inverter does its job well.

Good Quality and classy looking!

Delivered in perfect condition. Very easy to assemble. Instructions are easy to follow. Fired up on first hit of the start button. Running on propane which was simple to hook up. Impressive low decibel noise. Quietest generator I have ever owned. And my wife and daughter says it “Looks Pretty “. A double win.

Westinghouse 11k inverter generator.

Bought the generator after a 31 hour power outage due to ice storm. High winds predicted for the next few days and we a more prepared for the outage. Assembly was simple easy, Connected propane tank and it started right up. Removing the ground/neutral ground was slightly different from the online instructions but simple enough. Neutral and ground wires on the back side of the ground bolt. removed the neutral and slid a piece of heat shrink tube over the eyelet, just in case I ever need to re-attach it. Read lots of reviews before purchase so I feel confident this will meet our needs.

Lots of features, well-built, and quiet.

Loaded with features, well built, quiet, and very capable. Included in the box were all the supplies and tools needed to assemble it (which is very simple) and get it up and running. A propane hose connection is also included, which made it possible for me to start the break-in process using propane as my fuel source. It's heavy, but the pull-handle and wheels make it mobile enough to get it where you need it. You simply need to attach the wheels and handle, connect the battery with the quick connection, add the included quart of oil, and fuel it up. Then you're ready to go. During the break-in period, I fluctuated the power load by connecting some portable 1500W heaters to it and turning them on and off periodically (as advised). The instructions say to not exceed 50% power load for the first 5 hours of operation. The unit seemed to handle the shifting power load seamlessly. The remote start is super handy. But you can also use the push-button start or the pull rope. It feels and operates like a high quality machine. I'll likely need to add the high elevation kit to improve fuel efficiency since we're above 5000 feet elevation in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Had to pick it up in NV because they wouldn't ship it to CA even though it's CARB certified and on the approved list to be sold in CA. Not sure the reason for the hassle, but this is the one I wanted after reading reviews. I'm glad I could get it, and so far, I'm very pleased.
