I bought this generator in anticipation of needing it soon, which did not turn out to be the case. In fact, I haven't needed it yet, but it is ready to go. I realized that it will power my entire house, when I bought it figured on only power the fridge and an ac unit for the bedroom. It has all the features I assumed to need and way more than I realized. Great price for all the power and peace of mind.

I've hesitated for a long time to purchase a generator, but finally did so because of increasingly frequent power outages in our rural location. This highly rated model was the obvious choice and I'm looking forward to less stress and hassle when outages happen again.

This is my second Westinghouse Gen and I have had great experiences with this manufacturer. This one is larger in power output than my first one. Used it to power my 2000sf home with no problems. Just going to be moving to a larger home and need a little power output.

Haven't ran it yet, but after exhaustive research, including reviews on multiple sites, this generator came out on top. There is some debate on whether the 5% distortion is accurate under a heavy load, but even if not it should still be lower than most other generators that produce 20-25%.

After extensive research I selected the Westinghouse Tri-Fuel Generator with the Smart Switch Ready technology. I expect it to be reliable - the features and operation are clear and appear to be a breeze to operate. Glad I made this purchase as a home backup power solution. I am now ready for the next storm that will inevitably knockout our grid power. Thank You Westinghouse for this particular versitile fuel portable generator.

Haven't experienced a power outage yet to see how well this generator runs but we did a test run and it worked great, including running the A/C. The person who delivered ours told us he has the same model and it worked great for him during the last few outages. I feel confident about it being able to handle the real thing.

We've had it a couple of days and it was an easy setup. First use is running a welder and it has done an awesome job. We actually bought the Westinghouse dual fuel model but they upgraded us to a tri-fuel. There was a sticker on the outside of the shipping box that said Congratulations! You got a free upgrade! Didn't need the upgrade but, I guess that's cool.

This review is based mostly on the features since I have not used it yet. I plan to hook it up to my natural gas line hose and needed to buy a separate part to do that, which was disappointing. Other than this issue, it seems to be a great generator. The hose is supposed to have a quick connect feature which I think will be very convenient once I get it hooked up. One pleasant surprise is that it has an automatic battery charging feature. The remote start fob looks to be high quality. The generator also comes with a battery. The wheels are big and make for an easy transport. I moved it through my yard from my garage to backdoor and it was much easier than my old generator. I look forward to getting it hooked up and using it.

Just purchased this Generator in preparation for a hash winter in South Central Virginia. Our area is prone to power outages. We have had a transfer switch installed and one of our circuit breaker boxes converted to an "essential only" box which will allow us to use the generator to power all of our essential needs during the next outage. After a very straight forward assembly process and adding the oil and fuel, the generator started on the first push of the power button. Of course, the true test will be when we use it for actual power production and utilization. I will return to the review site and leave a follow-up review. After hearing the weather predictions for the coming months, out first outage is probably just around the corner.
