First portable generator purchased. It was very easy to setup, and started with the first tug of the pull start. Simple instructions for setup, maintenance, and use. Has 3 options for use of fuel, and a built in trickle charge which is a necessity in winter storage for Northern regions. I highly recommend this generator for multiple uses. “2 Thumbs Up”.

Very pleased with the Westinghouse WGen11500TFC generator. Has a lot of great features. Most impressive of all is the instructions for complete maintenance and the replacement parts list. I also purchased the WGenTent, it's the cover to protect the generator from the weather while running outside. What a great idea.

Has all the features, flexibility and power capabilities I was looking for in a portable generator at a very reasonable price. Tri-fuel and enough kW's to run everything I need in an outage. Looking forward to staying warm next winter if the power goes out.

I am very pleased with the design and construction of this generator. It has the convenience of 120/240 Volt (50 Amp & 30 Amp), plus two 120 Volt - 20 Amp duplex outlets. Also, 3 fuel options, a remote start key fob and Smart Switch Ready capability. It will serve well during power outages in our rural location.

Living in the Lowcountry of SC, a generator is a good idea. This portable generator is super convenient and much less expensive than a permanent whole house generator, yet very easy to hook up. It is a very sturdy piece of equipment that has given us piece of mind here in Hurricane country.

We're just getting it set up, but so far the pieces fit (except that the S/N is at the opposite end of the machine from what is in the instructions), and once you get the wheels on, the 800# machine seems reasonably portable from its storage place in our garage to the connection outlet at the side of our house. The power company is really good about keeping outages to a minimum in the Twin Cities, but it seems smart to invest in some insurance.

I bought this to replace a 22 yr old 15k w generac that finally died. I haven't used it yet, but I'm impressed with the much smaller size at almost the same power output. 3 starting options, an alternator, remote control start, battery charger, and oil included!! Pretty impressive. Amazing how things have changed! Hopefully this unit will give me many years of use!! BTW, I'm a 5'6" 66 yr old grandma. This unit though heavy, is very easy to maneuver. My only complaint is how low the pull bar is. I imagine it's even lower for someone over 6' tall. If it were mounted 6" higher, it would be better. But I guess it's a leverage thing. 🙂

i bought this generator to power my house during power outages. I have natural gas with gas heat and gas water heater, so this generator should power my house with no issue at all. Unboxing was difficult for one person, but doable. Once you have the wheels installed, it is easy for 1 person to move around.

I actually just bought it and haven't had a chance to try it out. But everything looks great, I've heard rave reviews. And once I get my transfer switch installed, this thing is going to run my whole house in the event of an emergency. I bought this also because of the <5% THD.

Bought after power loss for a week in the winter, installed direct to panel power, everything works, remote start is convenient. Weird smell upon first start up, assuming it's from the fresh paint reacting with the heat of operation. Haven't used it yet.
