I am excited about using this generator that is tri-fuel. The easy-to-use manual and the different functions to use the generator is the reason why we wanted to get this particular model. The carbon monoxide detector is also an extra feature that will be very useful.

I bought this generator after Hurricane Beryl. I spilled too much gasoline in the dark and decided I wanted to sleep through the night during outages. This runs 85% of my home through a 50amp cord and interlock switch. If you have any doubts, you will not be disappointed.

Recent purchase and so far so good. It seems to be well built and easy to assemble. Followed setup instructions and it started up and ran on first attempt. Noise level is typical for generator of this type. Has lots of great features including push and remote start, large fuel capacity and the mulit-fuel option is an excellent feature.

I bought this to be able to power my house through a transfer switch in the case of a power outage. I have run it for 5 hours total so far and it hasn't skipped a beat. The electric startup is very nice to have so you don't have to mess with pull-starting...I know that anyone in my household would be able to start it if I wasn't home. This is a beast of a generator and isn't quiet, but it's not as loud as I thought it was going to be. It's also very heavy but the handle and large wheels make it easy to move around. You will need help getting it into and out of your car if you pick it up from the store like I did...it might be better to have it delivered. Overall I am very pleased with this generator!

Fortunately we have not had the need to use our new generator yet, but am certainly thrilled that we have purchased this for when we may have to use this. We recently had a very bad storm where neighbors were without power for weeks. We wish we had had a generator. We read reviews and determined this was our best item to purchase.

In September 2020, I purchased my first Westinghouse generator (WGen9500). It arrived and I set it up, tested it, and put it away. Three days later, Hurricane Sally hit the Gulf coast and my power was out, so I had to put the new generator to the test. Thankfully, it performed flawlessly and, has gotten us through several multi-day outages since. My only regret was I should have purchased something a little more powerful to properly run all the stuff that I wanted/needed. In May of this year (2024), we had another storm that knocked out power for my house, my son's house, and my daughter's house. After sharing my generator around to keep refigerators and freezers cold, and with the predictions of the hurricane center for storms this year, I decided to go ahead and upgrade to the WGen11500TFc. So, I am giving my curent WGen9500 to my son for his house. Then I purchased a WGen 9500DF for my daughter and her family so we all ought to be protected from power outages. While I am not wishing a bad storm on myself, I look forward to seeing how the 11500TFc performs under load. My WGen 9500 has never failed me and I had an additional peace of mind with the 3 year warranty that my investment was safe. A quality product, that performs when needed, and an industry leading 3 year warranty. Why buy anything else?

I just received the unit today. The packaging was incredible. The owner's manual is clear and concise. The unit started right up and runs perfectly. The motor is quiet, and the generator is putting out 240 volts. I have not tried to connect it to the house yet, but I'm sure it will run all of our appliances with ease.

I have just now completed the unpacking of this generator. Installed the wheels and rubber feet. Serviced the oil and filled with gas. Connected the battery and pushed the start button. Fired right up and runs great. Starting the break-in period by adding various loads. Everything works like it should. Very impressed with the quality of this product.
