Perfect Upgrade! Great Build & Thoughtful Features

I had a different gas inverter generator in excellent condition, but I wanted a tri-fuel model. Given the strong reviews of this unit, I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. Assembly was extremely easy and straightforward. The included tools were high quality, and everything needed for setup was included. The manual is well written, and it includes a helpful supply list and maintenance guide. The included trickle charger is a big plus, and having the port conveniently located on upper front makes it even better. The long oil drainage hose is another thoughtful addition, along with the remote starter. For the initial run, I used propane, and it started immediately with the electric starter. The front panel offers plenty of features and access points, making it versatile for almost any situation. A propane hose is included, but a natural gas hose is not, so you'll need to purchase that separately. Given the side panels are insulated, this machine is very quiet. One thing to note, it's pretty heavy but the built-in handles and wheels make it manageable to move. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this generator. It appears to be very well built and comes with a solid warranty (1 year parts and labor/ 3 years for parts). I now feel thoroughly prepared.

Not worried about power outages now

Just received today. Packaged well and no damage. Filled with provided oil and gasoline and started up. Breaking in now. Easy to assemble but very heavy. Can't wait to hook up to the house and see how much it will run. Should run entire house with no issues hopefully. A lot cheaper than a stationary unit

Starts Up Every Time

Very excited about our new WGen11500TFc Generator. Bought it after the ice storm hit Nashville, so we'll be prepared for the next outage. We followed the directions on getting it started and it worked the first time. Very excited to know my family won't have to abandon our home for a week ever again.

JUST WHAT WE NEED

We have been talking about getting a portable generator for many years, after another "ice event" we decided to pull the trigger. There are so many options. We did our research and the Westinghouse Tri-Fuel was clearly our best option. We love the idea of using the natural gas option. This will allow us to have continuous supply of fuel. We avoid having to stock up on either gasoline or propane or, worrying about running out of fuel in the middle of a power outage. The WGen11500TFc - Tri-Fuel provides enough power to meet all of our needs and more when we lose power.

It's a beast!

Bought this unit to upgrade from a 5500 that we have used for 26 years… and it still worked. Did my research and decided from the reviews, price, options and reputation to go with the Westinghouse 11500. I got an extra surprise when my unit was upgraded to a Tri -Fuel at no additional cost. After assembly I ran the unit through a 30 min test cycle. It started right up and all outlets were working. Not looking forward to any power outages but when it happens this unit is ready!

Great service and great quality product

Generator came very quickly and westinghouse even gave me a free upgrade to the tri fuel model! I ordered this generator in case we need it at our last snow event and it seems this will be plenty enough to run the heat in our house and even our tankless hot water heater (with everything else off) This will make a great back up for us.

WGen10500TFC

Really happy with the build quality of this generator. This thing is built like a tank! Also very happy with the Tri-fuel available operation that is versatile to keep the power going matter what... from whole home power, to up north snowmobile shack power or working out on the hunting property! Large ergonomic handle and bearings in the wheels to easily move the unit around. Also comes with a ton of accessories (25 foot natural gas line with quick connect, Propane hose with regulator quick connect and tool kit) and nice large user manual.

Easy set up and start

Just received this new generator. This item was easy to set up (took me about 15 minutes). Set it use on propane for the break in period, unit started right up on the first rotation from the battery. The way it started and the noise level for a generator of this size, we couldn't be happier about our purchase for a whole home back up plan.

Westinghouse Tri-fuel Generator

I've been using the Westinghouse Tri-Fuel Generator (14,500 peak watts / 11,500 running watts), and overall it works exactly as it should. Power output has been reliable, and it handles everything I need it to without any issues. The tri-fuel capability is a big plus for flexibility. One thing to note is that it is very loud, which is expected for a generator of this size, but definitely something to be aware of if noise is a concern. On the positive side, it moves surprisingly easily—the rear wheels do a great job supporting the weight, making it much easier to reposition than I expected. The remote start is a great bonus. Being able to start the generator from inside the house is extremely convenient, especially during bad weather when power is needed quickly. Overall, it's a solid, powerful generator that gets the job done, as long as you're prepared for the noise.

It has several of the features that I like...

JUst purchased this generator. My neighbor has hd one of the dual fuel generators that he really liked. My other generator is 15 years old and half the watts. I like the fact it uses propane and will probably get a natural gas line to the place I plan to use it. Hoping not to need it, but having the capability to power my home is priceless!
