Large and in Charge!

Shipment was great and the item is definitely heavy but to be expected. However with the large no flat wheels and handle it makes it super easy to move around. We haven't hooked it up to the house yet, but packaging and all included accessories were top notch and direction and very easy to follow.

Started Right Up

Just got this generator and fired it up for the first time after filling the oil. Instructions easy to follow and it started right up. Let it run for 15 minutes and it hummed right along. Easy to move and rolled well on gravel. Using it for emergency power for the house and will do a power-over check in a couple of days to check everything out and prepare for a power down situation in a couple of weeks….so far, so good.

Amazing product right out the box.!!

I was very impressed from the time I unpack my generator. To out of the box, running. Assembling was very easy with the tools provided. Start up with LP gas for break in period for one hour. Remote and pull start worked perfect. It was super quiet from other ones we had in the past. Already recommend this product to friends

Great inverter generator

I did a lot of research on inverter generators and the Westinghouse iGen11000DFc was one of the top generators on the market for the size I needed it’s quieter than your conventional generator great features easy to put together had it up and running within 30 minutes having the dual fuel system is awesome. I definitely would recommend this generator or even the bigger versions.

Started right up

The iGen11000Dfc was well packaged and started easily on gasoline. I have not tried LPG. The unit appears to be well built. The unit is heavy and I suggest having a helper to unload and unpackage. Documentation needs improved. The manual refers to turning the fuel control switch to off, but there is no switch. Other then improvements needed in documentation I am pleased with the unit so far.

iGen11000DFc

This is my second Westinghouse iGen. The iGen 5000 works well with my 30amp RV, but I now have one with 2 AC units and the iGen11000 can handle both. The only issue I had with the 5000 was the difficulty reaching the oil drain nut through the small panel. And as far as the 11000, it surprises me it does not have an oil filter. I have not had to change the oil yet as I have not even run it through the break in period. I hope it is much more accessible due to the entire side panel being easily removed.

Compact and quiet

I have been looking for a compact generator with some features and this inverter generator covers all the bases. It is compact, has a 50amp output, easy to move around and very quiet when running. The unit was packaged very well resulting in a pristine unit after removing the box. Very easy to assemble because everything required was in the box including engine oil and wrenches to fit everything.

Oil Mess

When I unpacked this yesterday, the plastic bag that it was in had quite a bit of oil inside. After removing the bag, found that the cap on the oil drain hose was never secured. There was oil on the side cover, rear cover, and the shield on the bottom. I spent about 2 hours, mostly on removing all of the panels so I could clean them, along with wiping down the frame and other components. I just ran it for the first time and was extremely happy with how quiet it was. Enclosed is a picture of the shipping bag and the bottom pan.

Excited for a Power Outage!

I've been researching and researching and researching for about 3 years now trying to decide between a traditional generator, inverter, or home standby. Ultimately I landed on the Inverter ... then it was several more months looking at all the different brands and sizes. Between the reviews and videos I've watched...I landed on the Westinghouse 11000. I can power basic household functions in an emergency with no issues with this single unit and if need be, I can purchase another one and run them in parrallel and run the whole house! Runs beautifully, quiet ... wayyyyyy more quiet than I expected, and in a picnh, my wife can move it if i'm not home.

General review

Recently purchased and generator appears ti be a great value. Started up with no problems and ran well. Only issue is the placement of the engine oil drain plug. Not sure how to drain the oil since there is a cover under the engine that will be completely flooded with oil. Manual shows a tube extending out from the drain but does not provide any instruction on how it is used and is not included with the generator.
