Best decision I ever made! Love the hot tub, I looked for a very long time at other tubs, but this one was perfect! Great 1st time tub, only draw back is 5 people is very tight.

couldnt ask for anything better

when i ordered i was a little skeptical because it said processing for about 3 days. I opened up a chat online and they assured me that with an item so big you want to make sure that the itme is wrapped properly for shipping as it was coming all the way from california. delivery was posted two weeks out but came faster than that and boy was i excited to jump in. Had to get a certified electrician to come run wire to the house and under my new deck that i built to the hot tub so that way the heater would run and the jets would work properly. checked other spa place and the prices were unbelievable and boy am i glad i waited. could not beat the price all the talk about more jets this ls550 has plenty and is fast. if you have any question just click on the buy button you wont regret it

Perfect as described

My wife bought this for my Birthday. Delivery was quicker than expected and the unit was better than I had hoped. Got it set up in one afternoon (240 Wiring) and water was upo to temp the next morning. Only got to use it one time before leaving town for a week but tested out all the water, air and light controls and it works great. This unit seems to be very strong construction. Better than the one I owned years ago and much less expensive. I couldn't be happier with my present and I'm sure it will relaxing for many Birthdays to come.

Outstanding spa

We shopped around for several months before deciding which spa to purchase. We chose this model for it's size, number of jets, varied seating arrangement, and price. When it was delivered, it was wrapped in plastic and standing on one side, mounted to a wooden pallet. The guys from the delivery company helped place it on our deck although this is not part of the delivery. This spa is 220 volt so it will heat the water as the jets run. When we set it up and turned it on for the first time, the water was 56 degrees. It heated the water to 104 degrees in a few hours, much faster than we had anticipated. Our spa was delivered two weeks ago and we are very satisfied with our purchase.

Amazing value

It was light enough to move with four people. It showed up in perfect working condition. Installation of the cover clips was easy with a handheld drill. The plate for 220 wiring was easy to remove with a few screws. It has been the perfect addition to my patio for all visitors! The waterfall is not very powerful, the lighting is not overly bright! Would recommend also looking into attachable headrests for your four primary seats!

Michigan winter worthy

Took a month to arrive, which always about two weeks ahead of the projected time. Wired it in twenty minutes and we had water going into it within an hour. It was 48 degree water and 43 outside. The water was 104 in 8hrs. No leaks, totally satisfied after a couple weeks of use.

Glad we did it!

We love our hot tub! Perfect for 2 people daily use. Occasionally have grandkids with us and there’s plenty of room. Controls are simple and respond quickly to temperature changes. Attractive on our patio and yet blends in to surroundings.

Some good some bad.

I bought this spa about 3 years ago. First the good. I was able to get the spa on sale for around 3000-3500 dollars. It worked great for the first two years. Easy to maintain and seemed like a good value for the money. Its easy to heat and does the job, the jets are strong and it looks nice. Now the bad. I started having problems with the lid and by the time I called in I was just over the 2 year mark by a few months. They could have warrantied it out, but they choose not to so I had to pay 450 dollars for a new lid. That was my first experience with customer service. About 2 months later jets started leaking. After a painful process of discovery I was able to locate the first jet leak... I called CS to see if they would help with leaks and they said no... here is the really bad thing. The design of these spas is not great, it has a plastic shell under the wood siding that you have to cut through, I was able to do that fairly easily with a saw, but its not easy and you run the risk of cutting tubes (and I did upon the second leak). I was able to finally find a replacement jet and you can do that through Watkins customer service. The only place that carries them is hottubspasupplies.com if you order this spa you will want to become familiar with that site. Was able to change the first one out. Found more leaks, this is in a harder spot and have not been able to get it replaced yet. Spa repair people are very expensive and it can literally costs hundreds to repair something. So everyone buying these spas should know, and from my research and talking with spa repair people these tubs are very hard to work on and spring jet leaks often. Every spa repair guy was super familiar with Watkins and I had a couple say they would never buy their tubs. So if you are prepared for that then its a good value. Overall the first 3 years were good but now its a painful experience. I think Watkins should either offer an aftermarket warranty or extend leaks to 5 years if they are going to be prone to those kind of leaks. I also contacted Sams and the best they could do was 20 percent towards a new spa. I wanted to return it but they said they would not do it and that was disappointing as well. If Watkins was a little more CS friendly and the jets were warrantied a bit better this tub would be an amazing deal. Should not have multiple leaks within 3.5 years.
