replacement TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not had long so will update more further down the line, but first impressions it a very good Tv, setup is a bit hit and miss, but take your time and you soon find out what each thing dose, great colour, and for some reason feels and looks bigger than my old TV, even though they are the same size, don't figgier, sound through my amp, is well above what the old one was, quality is perfect, clear vibrant sound, Neighbours must being doing there nut, could have done with 4 HDMI slots but you cant have everything, will like I said update on its quality further down the line when I've had it a few months, the price was well within our budget, so good value for money.

Good picture at a great price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV for the living room. It's mounted on the wall and we watch it from a distance of about 3m. It produces good vibrant colours and contrast. The user interface is easy to use. There are three hdmi sockets, we use one connected to a Sky puck and a firestick. The hdmi port that is an eArc port connects to an LG soundbar which we ordered after. As we previously had a soundbar we did notice a drop in sound quality from the built in speakers, however the new LG soundbar improved the sound and supplies 5 channel surround sound. Overall I'm very pleased with the picture quality especially on such a large TV. The price for this quality makes it a good buy.

Fabulous purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 86" as I decided the 65" looked small on my wall. Great picture quality brilliant that the 2025 has 400mm x 400mm versa fitment so fits alot of different brackets and possibly the one you already have on the wall like the one I had

Great 4K Picture & Easy Smart TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 55UA75006LA last month and it's been excellent so far. The 4K picture is really sharp and bright, and WebOS is very easy to use for Netflix and YouTube. Great TV for the price, very happy with it.

Good tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All good. Only thing I will say is it's a little slow with turning on / over and getting on apps compared to my last TV.

OS is slow

I've had this TV for three days, and my main issue is its slow performance. Almost every button press has a noticeable delay, with the settings menu being the worst—it takes quite a while to open and navigate. Other than that, there are several positives. WOW Orchestra works very well, and the sound integration is impressive. The picture quality is decent; the colours are good, although they aren't quite as vibrant as I was hoping for. Brightness is strong and handles a sunlit room without any problems. One thing that really stood out is the casting feature. It works smoothly and reliably, making it easy to stream content from other devices. Overall, it's a solid TV with good brightness, sound, and casting capabilities, but the sluggish interface prevents it from feeling as premium as it could.

reply from LG CareQ

We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the impressive sound integration with WOW Orchestra, the strong brightness performance in your sunlit room, and the smooth casting experience. It's great to know these features are helping deliver the experience you were looking for. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the responsiveness of the interface and settings menu. We can certainly understand how a delay in navigation can impact the overall experience, especially on a new TV. As a simple troubleshooting step, we recommend checking for any available software updates, as these often include performance improvements and optimizations. You may also find that performing a quick power cycle by unplugging the TV for approximately 60 seconds and then reconnecting it can help refresh the system after the initial setup process. We want you to enjoy every aspect of your new TV. If the responsiveness does not improve after trying these steps, our LG CareQ team would be happy to assist further at 1-888-542-2623, or via WhatsApp, live chat, or email at https://www.lg.com/ca_en/support/contact-us/. Please reference CNN260618073950 so we can assist you further. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback and for choosing LG—we truly appreciate your support.

Disappointed in Picture

Just purchased tv but disappointed with clarity of picture despite going on line and making all the suggested adjustments. My last step is to try a better HDMI cable from satellite receiver but not optimistic that will make much of a difference. Our 60" LG tv upstairs is much clearer!

Thank you for sharing your experience with your 75NU850BPUA. While we're glad you've chosen LG again, we can certainly understand your concern when a new TV isn't delivering the picture clarity you were expecting, especially when you're comparing it to another LG TV in your home. We appreciate that you've already taken the time to try the recommended picture adjustments. Trying a different high-speed HDMI cable is a great next step, as signal quality from the satellite receiver can sometimes have a significant impact on picture performance. It may also be worth checking that the receiver is set to output at the highest available resolution and that any picture enhancement settings on the source device are properly configured. We want you to enjoy the sharp, vibrant picture your TV is designed to deliver. If the picture quality still doesn't meet your expectations after testing a different cable, please reach out to us so we can explore additional troubleshooting steps with you. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to help. Our LG CareQ team is always here to assist at 1-888-542-2623, or via WhatsApp, live chat, or email through our support page: https://www.lg.com/ca_en/support/contact-us/ and reference CNN260625192668 so we can assist you further.

Disappointing Smart set-up

The use of the smart function is hit or miss. Even when I have being using it for BBC iplay on one day it may not work the next. I keep getting the message "I keep getting "host name does not match server certificate". I have switched server and TV on and off and checked for software updates but still works sometimes and not others.

reply from LG Electronics UK

Hi David, We’re sorry to hear about the inconsistent experience with the smart functions on your LG TV. The “host name does not match server certificate” message can sometimes appear due to network or server issues, even if software is up to date. We recommend restarting both your TV and router, ensuring your TV’s date and time are set correctly, and trying a different network if possible. If the problem continues, please contact LG Customer Support on 0344 847 5454 or visit https://www.lg.com/uk/support/ so our team can help troubleshoot further. Thank you for your patience, we want to help ensure your smart features work reliably. Regards
