[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hairdryer is surprisingly small but powerful. It’s half the size of my previous hairdryer but produces strong blowing power. There are three power settings and three heat setting, the buttons are inconveniently located in the bottom so you can’t switch mid-way using one hand. Although the hairdryer is small the charger is surprisingly big, like the size of a laptop charger. With the charger being that big it decreases the portability. The noise level is louder than I prefer and has high pitch frequencies. I can only use the middle setting because the highest setting is too loud and too high pitched.

It dries and styles at the same time while not only protecting my hair, but also my scalp. It also does all this in no time flat. I don't know how I made it so long without this in my life but never again! I have naturally straight hair but still find myself using and loving the smoothing brush attachment. My hair has never looked or felt so sleek, shiny, and terrific after a wash. Usually I have to wait a few days post cleanse for the perfect hair day but this assures it happens EVERY day. Best of all, the time it takes is essentially nothing- it's cooling down and since I won't be damaging my hair I can easily go to bed with my hair dry and ready to go. There is a heat and cool setting depending on the style you want to do. It is not too loud which is perfect when it’s so close to your ears! Although I didn’t get the diffuser with the package, but I am looking forward to order that attachment and use it. That said, the accessories take some getting used to. The quick-smooth brush, in particular, sits at a weird angle on the handle, which makes it hard to work with—maybe I haven’t figured it out completely, but it feels awkward to use. It definitely requires some practice to get comfortable with the angles and how the attachments work. Since I also own the Dyson hair dryer, I can offer some comparisons. In my experience, the Shark dries hair faster than the Dyson, though it doesn’t leave my hair feeling quite as silky soft. The purpose of this tool is to straighten, dry, style, and protect the hair in a quick and safe way. There's a cooling button and built-in IQ that protects the scalp from high heat so your hair can continue to grow without any damage. There's so much strength in and power in this tool. The heat is strong, the noise level isn't any lounder than your typical hair dryer, and there's a filter included that can easily be cleaned. Doing so will allow it to perform correctly. All it takes is an easy little twist to get to it. The filter is reusable so theres no need to keep replacing it and keeping it clean will give it a lot longer lasting life span and keep it from collecting dust and debrees. There's three attachments included that primarily focus on straightening, volumizing, and getting rid of hair frizz. As you can see in the picture, each tool is unique, and there's a book and QR code attached to guide you on how you can pull off each hair style routine. My girlfriends hair is naturally very frizzy and curly as is, as you can see in the photos half of her hair is frizzy and in the other half she used the styler to comb dry and straighten her hair. Her favorite thing about the speed style pro is its quick ability to dry and style her hair before she goes into work. The Shark Speed Style Pro gets the job done way quicker than an average hair dryer. I highly recommend this product.

For reference, my hair is very long - to my upper thigh - and also thick with a little wave to it. I typically let my hair air dry to prevent damage. This hair dryer only took 10 minutes to dry my hair from a freshly showered head, which is incredible! I used the turbo concentrator attachment to dry it and then finished it off with the frizzfighter finishing tool. They both seemed to work as advertised and left my hair straight and shiny! It’s a very powerful little dryer, which also means it’s loud so it can put out that much air. The noise is a very high pitched squeal which had my ears ringing after use. It has a heavy power bank that makes the dryer kinda heavy to hold if it’s not laying down on something. I also kept accidentally pressing to cooling button on the front because it’s right in the area that I grab, but I might just need to get used to this specific hair dryer. All in all I would recommend this if you’re someone with long thick hair!
