I bought this to get rid of a bunch of debris from bushes I trimmed. I was surprised at how small the pieces were. I was hoping for a little bigger for more mulch coverage around trees. It is a "shredder chipper", but closer to a shredder. But it does the job. It's no really easy to use. I spent a lot of time trying to get sticks to hit the blades and got a number of branches stuck where it wouldn't go either way. But overall I am pleased with this purchase.

I bought this last weekend, and it's here already (wed.April 1st). I have not used it yet,as it is raining right now (yay,Oregon!) but it was fairly easy to put together, and seems very sturdy. Will do a more in depth review on my social medias and google or something, when I get to use it.

The assembly instructions were a bit confusing as some of the items on the inventory list were already installed on the unit, the numbers on the Components list (Figure 3) Carton Contents (Figure 4) and Assembly instructions (figure 5) did not correlate with each other, and the assembly instructions #7 said to attach the shaft to the motor housing but you need to complete the other side of the axel before doing so. The operation of the chipper/shredder was good on the test sticks and branches I used. I'm looking forward to making my own mulch with this machine.

This is a great little chipper/shredder for the price. Easy to put together and easy to use. I bought this primarily to shred last season's plant stalks, but I also sent through some smaller branches. It did a great job on both. Just keep an eye on the exit chute if you are pushing plants through - it tends to bunch up and block the exit, especially with less stiff material (ornamental grasses in my case). I used it for 3 hours straight and it never overheated.

The first day we use this wood chipper, it was great. But, I only got 2 uses out of it. So, now I'm going to contact them for another one. The motor started smoking. I have no idea why. I hope they can replace it. The assembly instructions were a bit unclear. It doesn't tell you which leg goes on which side. It can use an "R" and "L". We had to take it apart and then put it back together. But it's lightweight and makes good mulch.

The chipper is made of high-quality materials and performs better than I anticipated. In just one day of use, it has saved me many, many bags of branches that I would have had to cut up and put out in the trash. Having wood chips to use as mulch is an added benefit, but even if not saving for mulch, the output reduces my trash substantially. This chipper has saved me many hours of work as we've had a lot of dead wood to clear away from the hard freezes this past winter in central Florida.

We shred olive oil paper, paper board, and cardboard, and reuse it in place of buying wood chips or hay for our chickens. This machine did not work at all for that. Instead, it mules it almost into a fine powder similar to fiberglass that's blown.

Perfect for light shredding and chipping. Handles softwood limbs (Red Bud) and hardwood limbs (Live Oak). Mulch ready for spreading in landscape. Paddle allowed me to safely clear feed shoot.

I am quite happy with the product. Takes large diameter wood pieces to mulch easily. Not suitable for leaves and twigs much as the opening size is small and needs more effort to put it through

Bought it to help shred up a bunch of small branches, both dry and trimmed from trees that had gotten kind of overgrown. It made pretty quick work of anything that would fit in the intake. Didn't have any problems running in 90+ degree heat either.
