It was very “damp” when I took it out of the inside packaging and the consistency made the bread extremely malleable, even before I got it in my mouth. Taste was very odd %26 bland %26 not at all like other sourdough bread I have eaten.

i did not like the flavor of this bread at all- Tried it toasted with butter %26 yuck lol- Maybe good for sandwiches with other meats %26 ingredients to give it flavor. Just not for me- sorry.

I really like this bread. It is sturdy, holds a sandwich well and being sourdough has less sugar than other breads. And it doesn't taste sweet….most breads taste a bit sweet and that displeases me.

This is the WORST tasting sourdough I've tried yet. It doesn't taste like sourdough. It literally tastes like stale, plain white bread. My favorite sourdough so far from Walmart is by The Rustik Oven.

I've never felt compelled to write a review on bread before, but this is literally not sourdough bread and should be removed for false advertising. I'd compare it more to soft white bread. Don't buy if you're actually looking for sourdough.

It doesn't taste like sourdough. It's not bad , it's dry and light like English Toasting Bread. It doesn't have the crust, sour, or chewy quality of sourdough.

It is a very good sourdough bread it lasts. I keep it in the refrigerator during the summer probably in the winter too and they're nice. Nice good size pieces of bread.

My favorite bread. It's great for toast, grilled cheese or cold sandwiches. I can always depend on Pepridge Farms to have the freshest and best tasting breads.

This has been my favorite bread. Unfortunately this last batch was disgusting. It smelled really bad. The texture is different, and tasted horribly like chemicals .I'm not sure if they chsnged their recipe or it was a bad batch. It was just awful.

Moist, tasty, a very acceptable sandwich bread. Plus it lasts nearly forever on the counter without going stale or moldy! I could only wish it came in a version with some whole grains.
