Just received my WGen 12000DF. Very pleased with the features and how heavy duty the unit is made.

Everything I expected.  Runs the whole house even the well and water heater.

The remote is a great feature.

Just took the unit out of the box and it won't start.  Fully charged the battery with the trickle charger.  Engine still won't turn over.  Plus, it has no manual start option, so I'm dead in the water.  Hope this storm doesn't cause the power to go out.

Will not start

After simple assembly; tires, lift bar, and attaching the battery, it started right up.  I recommend High Octane gas (93 or above).  Ensure you read the instructions, step by step.  Oil is provided.  It is very heavy.  However, the trailer arms make it so much easier to move.  :-).  My first Westinghouse generator.  I am completing a whole home load test (1800 square feet) it should do fine.  Remote starter is very convenient, and starts the generator from a good distance.
