I bought this generator over a year ago, and didn't run it until about two weeks ago. I mostly use it to operate a Hobart 250-volt Mig welding machine. I use the propane feature, which supplies sufficient current to operate without hesitation. I really, really like this generator.

I spent quite a bit of time researching portable generators and found this unit to be the most feature rich of any other in it's class. What sold me was the power combined with the <5%thd. Throw in things like remote start, duel fuel, smart idle and transfer switch ready and I couldn't find another unit that matched up.

This generator has all the power I need to run a multi purpose welder and a grinder and what ever else I can plug in . This generator is very heavy duty and I am very impressed with this product . I have not tried it on my house to see if it will run it but from running other things there is no doubt in my mind that it want.

I had a smaller generator that could only provide me with 220/30 service (5700 watts). It would run everything but my A/C and hot water tank. I purchased this one so I could have 50amp/220 service and run everything in my house. I was amazed at all the features it had. Easy to set up and had running in just a few minutes. Really like the volt/amp/warning meter. The electric start is a big plus because at 73, I'm not a big fan of pull starting! Will be looking forward to testing it.

I bought this generator last year when we lost power and did not need it until the other day when we lost power again (12 months later.) It took me 15 minutes to unbox and set the generator up and it fired right up! Worked great, powered my fridge, freezer, lights and a fan for 8 hours until the power came back on. Definitely worth it.

The problem was my carburetor I had to taken apart and completely clean it out. After doing this it started up on the very first push of the remote button. A few people that I know had the same issue. Each of us did getthe generator by taken apart and cleaning the carburetor completely out.

I needed a generator powerful enough to power my well pump, water heater, and to heat the first floor when there is a power outage. This suits my needs perfectly. Being able to run on propane is a huge plus as well because I do not have a natural gas hook up from the city.

We got the power outage for more than six hours a couple weeks ago. This generator provide enough power for our 240V well water pump, central air heater, desktop, TVs. The thing I like most about this generator is that I can use the L14-30R connects directly to my main breaker. I then can have 240v and 120v simultaneously. It is a good deal to find a generator that can provide 240v for that price.

Purchased the WGen Dual Fuel 12KW/9.5KW generator on Tuesday and it was delivered free the following Monday. Assembly was easy even for a 60 y/o woman despite this 200+ lb beast. Filled oil. Hooked up propane regulator. Connected battery, turned on & started it up. One press of the start button & it automatically tried to start 3 times before firing up. Powered the main breaker & tested all the 120V outlets...all drawing power. Tesyed the remote key fob several times & she shuts off & restarts like a champ.. Will have an electrician install a transfer switch & interlock before it gets cold so I can have peace of mind this cold dark winter.

When I started researching generators for household backup purposes, this one quickly came to the top of the list. The features most important to me were low THD, dual-fuel, lots of power, electric/remote start and transfer switch ready. This one checked all the boxes! Item was received in good shape and started right up after adding oil and gas. I plan to plumb it via quick connects to my household propane tank. Looking forward to this generator providing many, many years of backup power!
