Good deal

If you like to toast sour dough, this is a good deal. Not exactly like home made or artisan, but I buy a loaf every week. I like that it is pre sliced

They don't make enough of it! Quickly sells out.

Great Sour Dough!!!! Crisp crust, chewy inside! They need to make more, I've gone back twice only to see it sold out and gone before I can get there after work. :( Make more please!

Love dough dough

The bread taste very good and, toast well. The texture is good. I am so thankful that the bread is sliced. I wish all the special breads would be sliced. Like you have Christmas bread and it would be sliced.

Good but used to be better

I really like this bread, but it doesn't have the sourdough taste like it used to. I think they might've changed the recipe.

what had happened to the Sourdough Bread?

What happened to the lovely sourdough bread. We were so happy to find that gem . Was buying two loafs a week. Didn’t even mind the unsliced loaf! I purchased a bread slicer . Then sliced was being offered and original no longer available. It was ok for a while then it changed flavor, texture, color! WHAT IS DRIED SOURDOUGH? I checked with my daughter also a fan she had the same opinion. I truly love almost all aspects of Sam’s Club. I’ve been plus a member since the 90’s and Scan n go is genius. I have earned way more than plus membership cost with my earning from the Sams/ Club credit card payback. So my complaint for the sourdough seems small. However I miss the great sourdough bread. So please bring back the original recipe for sourdough. Sliced or not I’m good either way . Thanks for saving me money and time. Loyal member.

Not as Expected

Didn't taste or look like the sourdough bread I used to buy at Sam's. It had an odd buttery flavor that is not typical for sourdough. I miss the old version and the boules too.

Read the ingredients

Switched ingredients recently. Not true sourdough.

Terrible. This used to be a great "clean" product with minimal ingredients and now it's full of junk. Whoever made the decision to make this change should lose their job. The people who buy this want minimal ingredients and no junk - the way it used to be!

No longer real sourdough

The ingredients changed. It used to be wheat flour and sourdough starter and tasted great. Now there’s no starter and uses enriched flour. Doesn’t taste good anymore either. If trying to save some money, I’d rather good quality with a higher price than cheap quality and still slightly higher price. We’ll start getting our sourdough somewhere else.
