[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ninja Luxe Cafe guides me to making elevated coffee and espresso drinks. It looks complicated, but there are QR codes and videos to accompany the included printed material, and the displays also guide one along from grinding to brewing. The first step in setup is testing the water hardness with included test strips. Each time you fill the bean hopper (with a UV-protective cover), the machine likes to be calibrated for best results. The portafilters, dosing funnel, spring-assisted tamper, and cleaning brush all stow into designated places on the sides. One feature I especially like is that the frothing unit’s steam wand has a purge function that sends fresh steam through it to clean out any residual milk. That purged water collects in the base of the unit. There is a little float button in the corner that pops up when the water in the base needs to be emptied. The machine will suggest which grind setting is best for the drink you want to make, and then you just rotate the grinder dial unto the setting matches the recommendation. The grinder weighs the portafilter and knows precisely how much coffee to grind for the drink you want. We have been enjoying both espresso drinks and rich classic drip coffees. The frothing unit can produce several types of velvety froth. Ninja has done its best to make the machine accessible for the average person. There are QR codes and stickers showing classic beverage instructions. Fabrication is excellent quality. Lots of stainless steel, and any plastics are of high quality. The water reservoir is thoughtfully designed, with volume markings, ergonomically designed hand grips that also serve as mounting notches, and a fairly high capacity so that you’re not having to refill it after just a couple of uses. It is also surprisingly easy to clean. I don’t have a knock box but have been using a plastic citrus peeler to dislodge the used ‘puck’ from the portafilter after each use. The machine looks good, feels good, and produces really lovely beverages. My aunt really looks forward to afternoon salted caramel cappuccino time!

I do like the custamizability as well as recommendations for less experiences espresso drinkers. I worry a bit about the hot plate on top and my cabinet but will have to see how that fares long term. I do wish I could more easily change the type of bean without having to dump it all out again. Milk frother with automatic cleaner is super awesome and easy. Overall after some use it becomes pretty easy. Great instructions from ninja to make it a breeze.

I bought this machine as a Christmas gift to myself and I am so happy I did. The quality of coffee from this machine has me in awe everyday. It's up to par and goes toe to toe with my local coffee shops. I use the frother to froth cold temp dairy milk. I only drink cold/iced coffee beverages and I must admit, the frother having a cold setting is grand. This is a money saving great tasting coffee machine. Ninja hit it out the park with this one.

I was so excited to get to try Ninja’s new espresso/coffee machine, and it has exceeded my expectations. From the moment I took it out of the box, the quality and durability was evident. The short set up video was incredibly easy to follow. I was ready to make my first latte in less than ten minutes. The process of making my favorite espresso drink was also quick and easy, and the finished product was incredible. I can see this machine completely replacing all other espresso/coffee making devices. Ninja has thought of everything with the LUXE CAFE. The incorporated storage allows a clutter free space and adds to the high end feel. I look forward to trying more drinks! There has been no need to visit my favorite coffee shop since getting the new LUXE CAFE. I highly recommend it!

User friendly allowing anyone to be a barista! I feel fancy, bright eyed and bushy tailed with this machine! After a lot of research on different brands and machines we landed with Ninja and couldn’t be happier! We also help run a commercial coffee shop and this little machine compares in quality and brew!

I have been enjoying my excellent coffee for a few weeks now and I have to say this is the best coffee maker I’ve ever owned. I love strong coffee and have tried other coffee makers including Nespresso and Keurig. They were not even close to the same quality of coffee as the Ninja. I love how easy it is to make such excellent coffee. I have always been intimidated by espresso machines but this one gives you such easy step by step directions that makes everything better. I definitely recommend this coffee maker. You won’t regret it!

When I use the luxe basket, a lot of grounds fall out from the side and wasting my beans. The refill water mode keeps showing up after grinding or brewing even though the water container is still full. I only had it fir 2 weeks. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I might just have to return it?
