I have a 30,000 sq. ft. lawn and this dethatcher should work well. I have not had to use it yet, but I bought it for the Westinghouse name and reviews. Take your time with assembly, as directions are not clear. I have sandy soil and thatch builds up quickly. Machine is light enough to maneuver and put away.
