Metal not as sturdy as other shelves I've purchased in the past. One shelf was bent and paint chipped from one side of the frame. One hole drilled incorrectly and I was not able to attach one shelf support.

The legs were angle inward when the braces were welded in place cause misalignment for the cross bars. Because of the front legs were pointing inward the cross bars were to long by about 3/8" Several of the cross bars had to be hammered in place. In addition the support bar home did not line up when installing the pins to keep them in place. At least 8 supports had to be redrilled. Assembly was terrible. Took well over 1 1/2 hours to fix.

I ordered a couple of red versions of this, and while they are very sturdy, the powder coating (or whatever it is they used) doesn't adhere very well. Both of the racks had many areas where the coating had rubbed off. They are also not entirely square, but mine both went together sufficiently. Have a good rubber mallet available when you put them together. Also, it's probably easier to have two people available to put them together instead of trying to do it on your own, the way I did. I'd still buy them again.

Great shelves, nice and solid, strong. Have one with my engine parts and a transmission on it.
