I bought these because description said each shelf would hold 2,500lbs, and that does not appear to be truthful. I am very disappointed. For the high price and the description stating whole unit holds up to 10,000 lbs., these shelves shouldn't be so lightweight.

Out of the box, one of the support pieces was between 1/2-3/4 inch too long. I was able to make it work, but it took a rubber mallet and elbow grease. The weld on the long piece is different as well, Feels solid enough though, I don’t know I’ll put 10,000# worth of stuff on it, so I bet it works for me.

The shelf is adequate but not nearly as heavy duty as advertised. The paint was rubbing away when installing the shelf racks. The anchors in between rails had a tough time fitting. The rails had to be twisted to get bolt in. The wire racks had some bending and had some damage. Not enough to take back. The shelf is heavy and is adequate for what we needed but I cannot see it holding up to the weights it claims to.

The shelf set was delivered by FedEx in a mostly intact box. Contents were not visibly damaged. I purchased this set after it went on sale and the price and decent reviews aided my decision . While unpacking I noticed that although there were holes provided for leg levelers and shelf bracket locking screws, none were provided. The wire shelf racks were a lighter gauge steel compared to other brands. During assembly I discovered that several of the holes used for the shelf supports were not drilled in the correct location and were impossible to use as directed. The shelves were a little "off square" because of this and while fairly sturdy would have been much better if some attention to accuracy had been used when manufactured and adjustable levelers had been included with this set. There are much better shelf sets available for a little higher price and I now wish I had purchased a different set. I would not buy this set again or recommend it to others!

Conveniently, SamsClub.com will not let me upload the photos showing the broken welds. I purchased this item in the store, and got around to assembling it. I was quite angry after opening the box, only to find 3 broken welds. 2 of the broken welds were on the shelves, so I patched it and put it as the bottom shelf. The upright ends that have a diagonal support, had a broken weld on the diagonal piece and was not attached. This unit was touted to have a 2,500lb capacity per shelf, but with broken welds that is probably unlikely. With the box not being intact, it is non-returnable to Sam's Club. As this was my first Sam's club purchase, this does not give me very high confidence in their products.

Delivered with obvious damage both Sams and Fedx should be ashamed this was after almost two weeks late from promised date. Support bars bent and some of the metal racks. I have bought these in the past and was very happy but this will cause me to no longer use Sams online. Customer service complaint when unanswered by Sams.

I bought a few of these to put up in my basement. The boxes at the store were all a bit rough around the edges, but it turned out one of them took some damage from a forklift when I unpacked them back home. Only a single horizontal beam's bracket was bent to the point where it couldn't be used, but Sam's Club is insisting I dismantle the assembled product in my basement and haul the hull box back to the club for replacement. This thing is not light. Open it before you leave the lot and check for damage.

I bought this rack a couple years ago. It has holes in the feet for mounting wheels, which I did. It stayed up for those 2 years, then the front 2 feet bent and the unit collapsed. If you look at the pictures of the unit you can see that feet stick out from the C-channel without support. That's exactly where they bent. The unit has a 90 cay warranty and Sam's will do nothing about it. Do not buy this if you are planning on using wheels with it. If you do not use wheels, it's probably fine.

I bought this for my garage and I need another one asap! Please please restock!
