These storage racks are a great buy. They are easy to put together and are well made. Could not give a 5 star rating as the wire shelving tends to bend slightly as you put more weight on it even though it is rated at 2500lbs per shelf. Otherwise I recommend this rack for any household.

The item arrived damaged! I ordered it online and it took almost 2 weeks to arrive. After attempting to assemble, one of the metal side posts was damaged. Super frustrating, as it’s a heavy and bulky box and returning to the store would be very inconvenient. My husband was able to hammer out the post and make it “work” but it looks very ugly now. Also, the description stated black, but the unit I received is dark grey.

Needs better packaging to help prevent bent pieces of metal. I've purchased a total of 12 and so far 5 of the 12 had some type of damage. At least I only needed to return one because it was so badly damaged. I was able to use the others but it makes it harder to put the pieces together if a section has some damage.

Purchased two of these units to organize my garage. First I was please that it arrived in a timely manner. Assembly was quick and easy since it didn’t require and major tools just a mallet to lock shelves in place. The unit once assembled was easy to move to desired location with just me and my wife. It is sturdy and was actually bigger than expected but well worth the price for sure.

I have bought quite a few of these (all of which are still in use in case you were wondering why I bought more) and have found that they go together very easily (even for one person) and are very sturdy. I am sure I have overloaded one or two from time to time but they have never failed me. And Sam's has a reasonable cost for the quality of the storage rack.

Although weighing only 127 lbs this shelving is very solid and sturdy. Assembly is easy enough but I'd recommend having some clamps handy to hold things in place until the shelf sides can be locked into place. Shelves can be place at 3-inch intervals. If the wire shelf bottoms don't suit you, they can easily be replaced with MDF/plywood (not included). Cross braces on the ends and the shelf brackets that attach to the ends are welded and thus very solid, no racking or wiggles. The only thing missing is being able to get additional parts for more shelves or extend to multiple units, which the ends are built to accommodate.

These storage shelves are extremely sturdy and a great value! I was expecting it to be a long process to put this together. It was actually quite easy to do and there is already a hole drilled in the bottom that I am going to use to add casters (not included) so it can be moved easily in the garage. I’m very happy with this purchase.

The overall frame is reasonably sturdy, but much thinner (lightweight) metal than expected. The shelves themselves begin to bend down with even the slightest boxes, or weight. It appears that about 25-30 pound boxes send these "rack shelves" sinking toward collapse. Very disappointed in the design, and in Sam's for pushing this as "industrail grade". The actual shelves are lightweight shelves, very similar to over racks.

One of the two shelves I purchased had two damaged (smashed) vertical posts. This made it difficult to put it together. It was too heavy to package back up and take back so I used a hammer and straightened it out a little - it was difficult to put together but it is sturdy. The other one went together easily.

I am very happy with the product and had an easy time assembling. What didn’t work well is, I ordered on line and did a store pickup. The store I go to is about twenty miles away. I got them home and had to have someone help unload because they are heavy. I unpacked the first set and assembled it easily. I opened the second box and found several pieces bend beyond proper use. I did notice that the box was damaged. Well, of course I had to load the box again and drive back another 20 miles to return and get another one. The return and replacement was quite lengthy. I finally have them up and my garage looks well organized.
