Got it all assembled yesterday. With 1 person, not taking breaks, good mechanical know-how, a nice surface and organization, it took about 8 to 9 hours to assemble. Sometimes I got deterred that there are so many screws to hold a small piece together, but that speaks to the quality feel when assembled and some ober engineering that leads to longevity. Instructions were great and easy to anticipate/know where to look after the 1st few steps. Only tiff is the manual screen is a little dim and LCD so it takes a little to get used to being that we'reall used to our phone screens, but not problem connecting with my phone. Heated up quickly, smells and looks amazing. Perfect size for our deck and our HOA approved it because of the aesthetics. And their rules say "saunas not allowed". Very happy with the purchase and now I have to wait until tomorrow morning to try it out!

Great value, especially w/ the $300 instant cash off. Heats up QUICK and I had no issues with connecting to WiFi. Only minor annoyance is the light inside needs a separate 110v plug

I am very impressed with this sauna I did a lot of research on other brands and this one stood out in terms of price and the extras you get with in. Really love the roof and also the floor panel in the bottom. The quality of everything seems super nice. The directions were very easy to follow. It took me about one day at the most to build this. I am so excited to start using it! I’ll leave another review after a few uses

As someone who researches everything before buying, I can confidently say this sauna stands out. The build feels premium, and you can tell they use better materials than most competitors. The thicker wood helps keep the heat consistent, and it definitely heats up faster than the last outdoor sauna I owned. It's been worth every penny.

I've purchased many things through the years that require assembly. This is probably the most involved item I have put together. That said, the materials, instruction, attention to detail, and overall quality is second to none. I made steady progress and was never left guessing what to do in each step. Backyard Discovery put a lot of thought into every aspect of the process and it's truly appreciated. I don't write many reviews, but since there wasn't much to be found for this product, I wanted to share my experience and the fact the product was so well thought through and executed, I wanted to share. I'm waiting for an electrician to finish the electrical service to the unit, but I expect no issues based on my experience so far.

What a nice product. I purchased an outdoor kitchen, 2 carports, and a Paxton barrel sauna (still assembling) all from Backyard Discovery. Tried the outdoor kitchen first and liked it so much we just kept going. The installation instructions made it a cinch. Sealed with linseed oil and sauna oil which brought out the beautiful color.

A couple years ago, we purchased a sauna online in effort to help survive the long midwest winters. It seemed like a great idea but then it arrived. The roof did not properly sit on the walls, the heater took way too long to get hot, and then the door would let all the heat out anyway. Then we had to go through the hassle of returning the thing. Fast forward a couple of years and we began to be interested in trying to find a sauna again. We were recommended the Paxton by a couple we knew, and following an exhausting amount of research, we took the leap and purchased the Paxton. We have never been happier and will never look back. The sauna is ready in minutes and stays warm despite the sub zero temperatures that we have. I can turn the sauna on from my phone which means we only have to brave the short walk outside. The construction is high quality, sturdy, and is going strong despite near daily use. Our family is feeling healthier, happier, and now making the best of the winter with this sauna. We give it all the stars and then some!

I received this sauna as a Christmas gift and absolutely love it. I use it all the time. I usually set it to 180°F and it reaches about 140°F in roughly 15 minutes, then climbs to 180°F fairly quickly. It seems to connect more reliably through the phone app than the manual controller, which is the only reason I removed one star. Other than that, I'm extremely happy with it and really enjoying it.

We love our Outdoor Barrel Sauna! The delivery was easy, the installation was a process but it had clear instructions and was fun to build, and the finished sauna looks great. Since installing it, we have used it just about every day and absolutely love it, it's made us intentionally disconnect from electronics and have a dedicated time and space to connect.

Bought this for my wife and I for Christmas. The instructions on setting it up were very good and we had no issues getting it together! heats up fast even in our 20 degree weather. Was well worth the money and has a great warranty. The quality is great also
