My spouse's absolute favorite cake is German Chocolate Cake. Normally I make it from scratch, and he can eat the entire cake in a couple of days. With my recent foot surgery, I can't stand on my feet long, so I decided to surprise him with this cake. Well, he told me it doesn't beat my homemade at all and he said, had I not told him it was German Chocolate, he would have never known. He said wasn't sweet enough for his tastes. I believe he's going to take the cake to work just to get rid of it. I'm so disappointed as I just knew this would be a great go to until I heal completely.

Bought this for Father’s Day and was honestly the very best German chocolate cake I’ve ever had in my life. The frosting was creamy and not glossy like typical German chocolate frosting, it was so good, I’m still thinking about it days later! TRY IT!

YUM! This German chocolate cake is delicious! It's really sweet, almost too sweet, but the coconut filling adds just enough to make up for the sweetness. I've had many GC cakes in my life, but this is by far the best one I've had. Whole family agrees. So, so good.
