I received a sample of the Member's Mark German Chocolate Cake in exchange for my honest review. This cake was so moist and delicious. There were generous layers of the filling throughout. It has a nice balance of the coconut and pecan pieces. The level of sweetness was perfect and not overpowering. This will definitely be a crowd pleaser for any occasion!

The cake was quite delicious. The frosting was fudgy and rich, but not overpowering. The coconut/ pecan filling and topping was my favorite. It was just delightful. The cake was moist and nicely textured. My only complaint is the chocolate cake seems to be made of regular chocolate, not German chocolate. It certainly didn't ruin the overall enjoyment for me, but if one was a German chocolate fan, it might disappoint.

I was given a free sample for my honest opinion. This is a pretty tasty cake. The coconut-pecan filling is very good and there is a good amount of it throughout the cake. The cake is slightly dry. And I wish there was more chocolate flavor throughout. The chocolate frosting is delicious, but there is not enough on the cake. And the chocolate cake itself is a little weak in flavor.
