The. Icing was superb. Pecans and coconut...very German chocolate. The cake had a rich dark chocolate taste not a German chocolate taste. It was very rich a decadent. Because of the dark chocolate taste many didn't care for it.

Very tasty cake. Moist cake with plenty of coconut / pecan fillings between three layers and on top.

Bought it for our son’s birthday (first time buying it) and it was great. Everyone loved it!!! Will definitely buy again and recommend it.

Good. It looks very nice. I never got to taste it as it was given to the tablecw highest donation for choice of desert. It seemed a little pricey to me. Thanks for giid looking cake.

This has to be the best German chocolate cake i have ever tasted, kudos to sams for all their products.

Sam's is a very good bakery and has reasonable prices. I usually enjoy what they do but this cake, while good, was not anything like I expected. Too rich and not enough nuts and coconut in frosting. It was good but not so German.

The cake was not German chocolate but more of just a dark chocolate cake. The icing was was the only thing that tasted like German chocolate but all the icing was very firm, almost crust like. Maybe too picky but I don’t think so. Other cakes are good.

It was too sweet and not enough cake it had way too much icing. It did have a good flavor but it was just too much, next time a little less is more. Thank you though.
