If that's the case, the Ice Maker will visually indicate what mode it is in. It is so awesome to hear that your Opal is one of your favorite appliances! This is really great. We do understand that it can be discouraging when it operates loudly, though. Your new icemaker may make sounds that are not familiar - the good news is that most of these sounds are completely normal. Hard surfaces like the floor, walls, and countertops can amplify these sounds.
