This is our second machine, this is the first ice maker since GE bought Opal though…and I must say- GE has done an OUTSTANDING job! No complaints at all. If you love ice, you will not regret this purchase.

I love the wifi feature and that it let's me know when it needs to be cleaned. It's great and let's me have ice whenever I need it! Additionally the water recycles and is filtered.

This is awesome! I love the “sonic” or “good” ice. It is amazing to be able to walk into my kitchen and have it at my fingertips. Good ice = good life!

Great ice pellets, especially if you like chewing ice. About enough ice for two full 32 oz cups. Replenish quickly. Some noise when making ice, but not bad.

This ice machine was super easy to set up and supplies lots of great ice in a short period of time! I was reluctant to purchase due to the cost, but I'm so glad I did!

The machine is new but for the first few weeks it has done a great job. Love the ice. Just wish it kept it a little cooler. I have to transfer to g he e ice yo my freezer when I'm not using it immediately

Love my ice maker so far! I haven't had it long enough to say it lasts forever but it's doing great so far! Does make a lot of ice and is good at keeping it frozen

Purchased one of these after a Christmas party at my family's house. Love the ice, makes it pretty quick, not to loud, has the ability to make ice on a schedule when paired with the app.

It's a great ice machine and has the best crunchy ice and overall has great quality. It's does make some loud sounds while making ice but it's not overly loud .

Makes beautiful ice, but it makes so much noise (sounds like cats fighting) and the the compressor sometimes sounds like a lawn mower. And yes, we run the descaling mode as required. It still makes the noises. We'll likely have to return this soon.
