It's a nice machine. The ice is perfect and there is always plenty. It does have to be cleaned very often. I think the extra tank is worth not having to refill the main tank all the time. We go through about one of the extra tanks per day.

I just returned my third and final ice maker. The third machine stopped making ice and continually indicated to add water even when the water reservoir was full. I cleaned and desalinated as directed.

This is my second Opal ice maker only because I didn't clean the first one properly. My first one has lasted years. Love the ice. I highly recommend this ice maker. Dave

Great ice maker so far… This is one of the few ice makers that makes chewable ice like how they have at the hospitals. No complaints yet. Hopefully this machine last a while.

I love this ice machine but sometimes when you open the drawer the bottom of the ice container leaks. Not too much of an issue to not like the ice made from the product but is a little annoying.

Set up is a little long, but not bad. Only negative is that the machine says “add water” often even though I have the side tank. Other than that, the ice is great, and my family loves it.

A bit time consuming to set up and clean out, but so happy with it once it's up and running. We have reliable and satisfying ice 24/7. Way better than normal freezer door ice, never going back to our old ways.

My whole family absolutely loves this ice maker. We constantly use it all the time. It's quiet, easy to operate in person or via app, which I love that it has the app as well, super convenient! Totally worth the splurge!

We could not love this ice machine more! It makes the perfect nuggets of ice for any type of drink! I hope in the next model they make a holder for the ice scoop - but otherwise a perfect product!

Stop looking at this ice maker and buy it. If you chew on ice it is worth the price. Makes ice unbelievably fast and the saddle tank keeps a steady supply of water coming.
