This ice is perfect for ice eaters because it produces nuggets that are soft and will not damage teeth! Like eating fresh snow. This ice maker is unmatched!

This is my second opal. First one lasted about 14 months, even with monthly descaling. Bought the 2.0 to replace it. Buy the extended warranty. I wish I had on the first one. Still the best I've ever! Oh and it can be noisy.

I love my ice maker. Took a little trial and error to make sure there was no air in the line on the side tank, but works like a charm since. Worth every penny…

Good looking, matches my other appliances, the cubes are the perfect size, I purchased the site tank which makes things very easy. It is programmed to my phone. I can turn it on and off with ease from my app.

I purchased in December of 2024 and it already stopped working. Have cleaned as directed and only used at home with a small household. Love the ice but disappointed that we are already having issues with it not making ice.

Easy to use. Took serveral cleaning once I got machine for the ice to taste ok. Wish it came with cleaner solution. Quite and starts producting ice quickly.

I love my ice maker! My husband gave it to me as a gift with the optional side tank. I use it all day, every day! It keeps up with my needs and I haven't had any problems. I clean it once a month with vinegar. Love it!

Since the second day after installation, the unit has sounded like the gears are grinding. Our friends have a Gen 1. Do not buy a Gen2 which this unit is. Online reveiws for the Gen2 were poor but my wife wanted this one for Christmas
