Love this Nugget Ice Maker!

Although my Profile Fridge has an ice maker, I much prefer the nugget ice. I had read many articles and reviews of the GE Profile Opal as well as other brands, and found the Opal to be the best value. I have not regretted my purchase!

Love the ice, but…

I bought this because both of my sisters have it and love theirs. I love the ice…when I get it. My machine constantly says add water…even though the reservoir is COMPLETELY full.

If your reservoir is full of water but the unit is still calling for you to add water, we'd recommend unplugging your unit for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in; this can sometimes reset the internal electronics. Perfect cocktail ice!

Love this countertop ice maker for drinks all year long. Only gave four stars as it is really noisy in the Defrost cycle such that it sounds like a cat screaming in an alleyway. Otherwise live it!

Great ice machine

This machine is great… makes the “good ice”. I love the app and scheduling feature that allows me to schedule it when I want it to run and have it not running when we aren't home. Great features all the way around!

Love this ice maker

Easy to set up, use and makes AMAZING nugget (like Sonic or Chikfila) ice. The only down side is it that the hum that it makes is a little louder than I would like but otherwise it is awesome!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Perfect for any event at home.

Great product, well designed and takes up very little space. It's very quiet when making ice and easy to set up. I haven't been back to Sonic since purchasing the Opal 2.0 with side tank. Side tank is a must!!!! Bruce G.

Great ice maker!

This ice maker is amazing, it makes ice quickly and is much quieter than I expected. I love it so much! I highly recommend it for anyone you enjoys this type of ice that other machine just can't come close to producing!

Broke on 4 months

The side tank broke. Warranty won't replace side tank. Said warranty doesn't cover the side tank but they would send me along To purchase at my own expense a new side tank.

I used it for 3 months and it stopped working

I like the machine used it for 3 months and the thing stopped working. Stopped making ice and start to make noise. I need to figure out how to get a new one my wife loved it. It's her favorite ice.

The reset can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in. Pebble ice!!

We have loved having our pebble ice maker! It's making ice constantly, it can barely keep up with my children! The I my thing that would make it better would be if it could fill itself with water
